I use the mucoff bike cleaner since I started biking. I’ve tried others and always come back to it. I will say but the basic kit and then just keep buying the refill. It’s expensive but it will last a while!!!I’ve also used it on my cars when they’re super muddy and it cleans out the thing mud before I start the actual wash.

For years I've used a German-made motorcycle wash spray with great results. I was running out of the product, and decided to try something less expensive. After some research, I bought a bottle of Muc-Off concentrate. The performance of Muc-Off was on par with the more expensive German product, and the price per liter (after mixing with water) was 64% less.

If ya wanna wash a CF bike with disc brakes and a mech that needs to be cleaned: this is the way to go. Cleans, but is not so aggressive that it will strip a finish. My bikes have PPF on them, but the move with this stuff is to spray the area after a pre-rince (with softened warm water) and let it do it’s job. Then go in with the washing stuff and cleaning tools.

A fellow rider turned me on to this stuff and I am sold. Yes, it is a bit pricy but worth every penny. I dilute it 3:1 as instructed and keep it in a pistol grip spray bottle. After a rideon a messy, wet trail, I just leave it on the rack and spray it down. Dirt starts to melt away. By the time I get the hose it is ready to hose off. Takes less than 10 minutes from pulling in the driveway to hanging the bike on a hook to dry. I have reordered.
