Energy Work: The Secrets of Healing and Spiritual Growth

I chose this rating as having read the book & doing some of Bruce's examples of energy work, I have improved my back & lessening the pain to almost zero after 43 years of nursing & heavy lifting. I have been participating in energy work since 1987. I am a Healing Touch Practitioner. Bruce uses the Divine Guidance that he has been given & doesn't always follow the techniques set out by other modalities. This is where I am coming from but have had difficulty freeing myself up to do it. His book gives many different ways of energy healing by using the mind as well as the hands. I'm feeling there is no limits to the work one can do energetically. The book is an easy & interesting read. Hopefully many others will read it & do more for their own healing yet remembering that it does not take the place of the medical system but compliments it.Betty

I found this difficult to read. I just felt like it was more of a memoir of the author vs any actual help. Just found it difficult to get through, however it may not be that way for everyone

Absolutely amazing!!! There is absolutely nothing like this anywhere I looked. Robert is a Master and nobody comes even close. He is practical and his methods are simple and they work, folks. All of them. You will get results within minutes from the time you begin any of them. Everything I tried, I now use because it WORKS. No useless verbiage, no metaphysical incomprehensible lingo. He is a man of action and results. After you APPLY the info, as the they say:"Your life will never be the same" It's a huge difference between just reading and reading + taking action. His methods are incredibly easy to follow and the results are beyond your expectations. Robert will emphasize over and over that you need to take action. I'm a fan!

This book is an amazing way to awaken yourself to what you are fully capable of. Highly recommended.

This is one of my favorite books on work with energies. In fact, if I could choose what book I will be born with my next life-this one would be the one! I love the way Robert teaches, he explains everything in such an easy way. The techniques are simple and very effective. Sometimes he is a little repetitive, but not in an annoying way. So, easy reads, simple exercises and very effective.

Very practical and tactile way of learning to use energy to heal yourself as well as others. Introduces you to your higher self and truly gets you in touch with your innate ability in energy work.👏👏👏

The book has good illustrations and lots of ideas on healing others and working with individual's energy fields and learning how to develop your own ability to become more aware of your body and its ability to sense what is going on with others. The author admits up front that everything in the book is his own creation and it is not based on any scientific studies or ancient practice. So, with this in mind I take it with a bit of scepticism as a book of "new age" feel better concepts and activities to supposedly enhance one's awareness to sense other's energy fields. I have enjoyed reading the book and will have fun practicing more of the ideas presented in it as time goes on. The author does give enough in depth information to at least keep the reader interested and have something to try to practice as they read through the text.

I am about halfway through the book. So far, the exercises are easy and really do a great job explaining energy and how you can feel physically feel your own energy and control it. I've committed to working through it at least ten minutes a day and have been really pleased so far. Can't wait to get into the energy healing party. Energy is a huge part of our body and it's been so misunderstood (or completely ignored) until Now!

Useful energy exercises to do, but still missing a spiritual point somewhere along the line. Might suit more scientifically minded readers.

I highly recommend thus book to anyone looking to do energy work, it is mostly written from his experience and it is very much examples of experience rather than historical interpretations of working with energy

This is a great book to get you going on doing your own inner energy work. Powerful techniques that if you practice, you will guaranteed have results.

Good Book, but as always, Hampton Roads Publisher is a fool. Very bad cover for this useful book.
