HOT.. did i say HOT. It is hot. You have to breath threw your mouth and not your nose. Hotter then wasabi. It is very good on a burger.

I had to write a review for this procuct. It is the real deal. Don't EVER ask for crap fom a restauarant again. A teaspoom amd a lttle mustard and it does not get more authentis. It is nuclear. I love it!

Wow!. This stuff is the read deal. After years of buying jars of premade Chinese mustard I had given up on getting that POP from mustard like you get at the restaraunt. My local Chinese restaraunt owner told me this is what they use and boy is it hot. I mixed some up as directed on the label (2 tsp mustard 3 tsp water). I let it sit about 10 minutes and tried it. Perfect in every way. Has heat like fresh made horseradish and the same restaraunt taste I wanted. I wish I had found this sooner.

Have you ever looked for that super hot mustard they serve with the pork slices at an old-school Chinese restaurant? Well, you won't find it in a bottle at the store but you will in powder form on Amazon. Mix with a little bit of water and this stuff opens your sinuses like Atomic horseradish does. Good stuff especially on beef and pork.

If you like hot mustard as we do, this is a perfect option. I purchased in Chicago's Chinatown many, many years ago but being the gypsy I am, in some states there were no options. I was delighted again, many years ago, to find it on Amazon and although it's doubled in cost since my first purchase, it is still far and away the best oriental mustard and - because it's in powder form - can be added to any recipe that calls for spiced mustard. One suggestion, make sure you make it a little in advance if you intend to use it for take-out Chinese food (they always give you soy but rarely mustard) so it has a chance to thicken a bit but it is hot which you temper with water ... enjoy!

This mustard, when prepared, has the proper amount of bite for mustard labeled as hot mustard - don't eat too much at once until you build up a tolerance, but if you do, after you recover, you should find your sinus system well cleared out.
