I build hot rod cars which requires a great deal of welding, grinding, sanding, etc. These belts are excellent. The backing is heavy and very strong. The splice joint is just as strong as the rest of the belt so it won't separate under heavy pressure. The coated abrasive is generously applied. In fact, when I remove a belt from my grinder I don't throw it away.There is still plenty of abrasive left for light hand work so I cut it into little squares. I can't find anything I don't like about this product. There are much cheaper versions available. Don't waste your time & money on them. Get the Red LabelAbrasives.

Very happy with these belts, I have ordered ceramic belts from other companies...I feel like these have lasted longer than the ceramic and cut very well while working better than AO belts

Excellent quality product, resists grit loss very well on mild steel grinding. Made 4 notches in 7/8" pipe and cannot even tell the belt has been used.

They last a lot longer than the ones belts I got from Home Depot and harbor freight.

I have not used for as much grinding as I usually do, but these belts seem to be very aggressive (just what I wanted).

I use these 2 x 48 - 80 grit belts for grinding spring steel and they do not wear out. The finish is excellent! When switching over to sand walnut it’s as if I have a brand new belt on it every time. I definitely recommend these belts

These belts are absolutely INCREDIBLE. They cut like a dream and don't dull easily. They keep very sharp and are very fast at removing material in a uniform and efficient way.I put one on my belt grinder today to shape a knife handle made from ironwood and brass pins, and not only did it cut quickly, accurately, and smoothly, even after I'd done the whole thing and shaped the heat-treated K720 (O2) high-carbon tool steel, it was still cutting almost as well as when I had started an hour earlier.They're also very well-made in terms of toughness, construction, and quality of materials.Would highly recommend. 10/10
