Quite amazing how it removed rust spots through paint
I have to say after trying this on some rust spots on my 15-year-old car, I was amazed. I'm talking about places where rust was just starting to form through the paint (not like rusted through of course), where salt from our roads had penetrated into the steel beneath, forming rust spots visible to the eye. By applying this to a rotary foam pad (sold here on Amazon in kits for around $10.) attached to my drill I was able to buff out about 20 of these spots in just a few minutes. Now I can apply a dab of touchup paint to cover the little opening the former rust had made through the paint, to protect the metal beneath. Then I'll wax. Really improved the look of the hatch on the back of my car and the roof which had numerous rust specks like this, up to 1/4 inch across. It even worked on a 2-inch long, narrow crack in the paint where a slight impact had made an opening to the metal beneath, allowing rust to form along the crack. Wish I'd taken photos to share, I really couldn't believe how well it worked for this. Will try it on scratches and other areas next.

I’m a believer!
Bought Revive scratch remover to try to repair scratches from concrete column in parking garage. Numerous obvious scratches in about 8 square area on left rear panel. Most scratches Within paint level, some through paint and into primer, a few through primer.Revive worked great to remove all scratches no deeper than paint. Cannot see any of those scratches now in bright light.Scratches into primer slightly visible at certain angles with bright side lighting, but not visible from most angles.Scratches deep into primer still visible but substantially reduced, visible only on close inspection. Was planning to go to body shop for paint and buff, but now might not . . .In Toyota Camry Midnight Black Metallic paint color. Before and after pix below. Hope pix show the substantial improvement. Just iPhone pix.About 3/4 minutes of work, maybe 50 cents of product cost.Had previously tried Scratch Doctor on same scratches. No meaningful improvement. Before pic is with Scratch Doctor treatment. After pic shows substantial improvement with Revive treatment.I’ll be trying Revive on our other cars’ scratches and finish imperfections.

Not working At All
This product did not improve or repair swirls and scratches in the car paint, other than polishing.

Workability
This is an amazing product that actually works. However, it does not last as long as the pitch men assert. It's an ideal dream to purchase a product just one time that has a lasting effect. For the price and ease to apply, this is a great product.

Good for small spots, proceed with caution on black paint...
Wish I got some pictures before/after but I used the product just before trading my car in (😉) and I only got one last-minute picture of the damage the product caused. One thing I noticed could really screw someone’s Saturday afternoon up if they’re using it on a black vehicle. On small areas where you’re concealing a few scratches, the product worked for what it is. I have (had) black paint on the car so it shows damn-near everything. After using the product, the smaller & not so deep swirls/scratches all but disappeared. The deeper scratches that were shining white were reduced to minor swirl-like type of scratches. Fantastic.BUT, I don’t recommend waxing your entire car in it. I had one door that was particularly bad with bumps/scratches/swirls. I ‘waxed’ the entire door with this product and once I wiped and buffed it off it looked GREAT... Until I got to the dealership and the sun was starting to set.. The light hit the door JUST right and holy GOD I’m glad I didn’t wax my entire car in it. This product RUINED the door. I mean, it absolutely trashed the clear coat and put so many swirls in it... I don’t know if it was user error or what but when I saw it I nearly died. Luckily, the dealership didn’t notice it. I attached the one and only picture I got of the door it ruined. So, if you have a few small spot-jobs to do, this product will work fine. If you have a black car and need to do a large area, I would proceed with caution.

Short lived
Once again, shine armor doesn't disappoint. Will it take all scratches out? No. Will it take most scratches out? Yes. I use a 3" high speed buffer with a foam pad. I had a dozen or so scratches on my 15 sierra, which is a really dark color. Dog claw marks? Gone. Fingernail scratches around the door handles? Gone. Even some scratches on the bed sides from loading/unloading.... Gone. If you can see the primer, this stuff ain't gonna work miracles. If it's just scratched into the clear or even basecoat, this stuff takes the pain out of scratch removal. What I liked most is that it's a one step product. Many good compounds will take out scratches, but then you have to polish out the scratches from the compound. This can end up being a 2 or 3 step process to get back to gloss. Not with this stuff. Easy on, easy off, scratch gone!UPDATE!The first car wash removed whatever this stuff did to my paint. All the scratches are back. Not sure how this stuff works, but it definitely doesn't last....
