Matte Milliskin Nylon Spandex Fabric 4 Way Stretch 58" Wide Sold by The Yard Many Colors (Purple)

I initially ordered 1 yard of the shade neon fuschia for a cosplay project and was very happy with what I received. Halfway through the patterning process, I discovered that more fabric would be required, so I decided to order an extra yard of the neon fuschia. The yard I received was 4-way stretch spandex, but the shade was off. The expected smooth, matte surface of milliskin was instead a rough, glittery polish that shed off on my hands as I was cutting. The shade was close enough that I, unfortunately, didn't fully realize the difference until it was too late.I ordered 2 yards of the white separately (1 yard arriving with the second purchase of fuschia.) The white matched the previous order exactly, so why is it that the fuschia did not? I'm a fan of fabric wholesale and have ordered from them in the past with no issue, but it would seem their Amazon store might be less reliable.

The first time I got this, the red was perfect for me (hot red) so I ordered more to make a swimsuit for our vacation. The one that came today is completely different and really isn’t my color as it’s a cool red. I guess I’ll need to look for it elsewhere as I worked very hard on the pattern. The piece on the left is the original red I got. On the right, the one I got today and the one I got today looks cooler in person than in the pic. The “garment” is a muslin I ran that used up the color I loved.

Ordered the white to make a DIY projector screen and it worked great! Package was very dirty from shipping so had to be careful when opening as to not get the fabric dirty in the process (byproduct of shipping, not related to seller/product, just important to note). Shipped about a week earlier than projected which was much appreciated! Will be placing an order after this review for black material to use as backing as the fabric is juuuust transparent enough that you can see the wood frame I built behind it. #oops My screen dimensions are 59" x 105" for a ~120" 16x9 image surface. I ordered 4 yards and had plenty of extra on each side. The fabric stretches quite a bit on top and bottom to wrap around the 1x lumber I used with several inches to spare.

I’m so pleased!! I ordered this in Sunflower for my Beatrix Kiddo costume and it’s the perfect color and weight! I will definitely be using my leftovers for swimsuits. The quality is way better than what I’ve been buying from Joann’s Fabric Store and it’s half that price! The stretch is perfect, but it doesn’t lose its shape (so far). My only gripe is that it is slightly see-through when single layered. That’s genuinely not a big deal, though, as all my swimsuits are double layered and I can wear nude underwear with my costume. Plus I feel like that’s pretty normal for yellow Lycra. Will be buying plenty of other colors soon!

I am using this fabric to sew a swimsuit and it's worth the price, although it is a bit thin. I got the white and the color is a nice clean white, unlike another fabric sample that was duller. It also feels very smooth and stretches well, about 50% or more in opposite directions.

I wanted to make a cheap and easy green screen for my fiancee and bought a couple yards of this to stretch onto some cardboard. It ended up working very well, and my fiancee was pretty happy with the result.

I really appreciated the detailed description of this material. I wasn't left wondering if it would work for my purpose, nor did I have to spend time asking questions of the seller and waiting for a response. The description itself answered all my questions which I believe a well written ad should do. Loved it that the material came in multiple colors and was priced appropriately.

It was a little thicker than I thought it would be, so thickness and sheerness were rated "4". Otherwise, it is perfect for my use. Drape was perfect, stretchiness just about right. Comfort of the surface against skin perfect. Very comfortable.
