Blazer International 195C43A LED Warning Beacon with Magnetic Base, Amber

My son wanted this so he could play. It is a good, bright light. Has a few different flashes which I believe all work well. The cover for the battery and light bulb is strong and doesn't feel like it will come off easy, like other lights we have bought. It is magnetic on the bottom, and that holds well. He currently has it on our fridge and turns the light on when he goes in to get something.... haha.

Had to park my truck along the side of a rural road most of the night while performing outdoor noise monitoring. This little beacon light is bright, the magnet stuck well but not too hard that it was difficult to remove, and didn't scratch or damage my vehicle at all. Great product.

I use this as a locator light when tracking deer in the dark. I hang it in my tree stand and always have a point of reference to get back. It works great but I was disappointed to find it would not turn on this year after only using it a few times in about 4 years.

compact and yet very strong. A must to keep in car. If you need to pull on the side of the road, you will need this powerful flashing bright yellow light to warn others to stay clear. Two D batteries- so you do NOT need to fool around with a plug in your cigarette lighter. I carry extra D batteries to be safe, but I understand that these batteries will last a long time. Very strong magnets to hold this warning lantern on top of your car even on windy and stormy days. A must gift for loved ones.

While the light functions well, the magnetic base is useless. Double sided carpet tape would be better. I wouldn’t trust them staying on a flat horizontal surface, much less a vertical one. I purchased several strong flat magnets from Harbor Freight and epoxied them to the base. Now the lights stay in place.

The good:Batteries last forever for this thing. I am a rural carrier for the USPS and it runs for 4-8 hours a day 5-6 days a week. I bought it over a month ago and it's still going strong. The magnet is also very strong. I chose batteries over traditional because the wire in my cig. lighter gets caught on things while I try to do my job. That might be the problem in my "meh" section.The meh:It's not that bright. On a cloudy day, you can kind of see it flashing but in full sun it might as well not be on. At night, it looks pretty bright. That's the most important time, for me, if I want people to see me and not rear-end me as I stop at mailboxes.The bad:The gasket on mine does not seal it very well. On rainy days, water gets into the battery compartment. While it doesn't seem to truly harm anything (once it dries out, it's works again), it's annoying that it sometimes fails on rainy days when visibility is lower and I need to be more visible.

Great buy for my needs. Bright enough but not blinding or bothersome to my neighbours. Has lasted 15 hrs so far on the same batteries and has went thru 2 major storms with no issues. The magnet should be mounted on dry sur face as it tends to slide around .but once it's on good and sturdy for the price I would recommend. Still doing its thing noproblems. And believe it or not same batteries 2 years later and I use it every snow storm .
