Good Value
Nautilus T616 Treadmill Had great anxiety about this purchase as many people write that they have had big problems with damages and unskilled professional assembly. When I received the box it was obviously damaged, and some of the damages had been taped over. I left the box closed, and waited for the professional assembler (from Amazon) to open it. Inside the box, there were many pieces of cardboard and styrofoam which absorbed the impacts and left the parts undamaged! I asked the assembler if he'd ever done this model before, and he laughed and said "Just a few hundred!" The way he swiftly unpacked the box, assembled the treadmill without hesitation and without referring to the instructions, and then tested it, makes me believe it! I've used it for just 10 minutes, but it was very nice! Much quieter than my old treadmill. I'll add to the review after I've used it longer.

DO NOT FOLD - It will never unfold, and you'll be stuck with a useless, 300 lb eyesore
This treadmill has been very reliable and sturdy. However, the "fold" function is a one-way operation. User's Manual shows, on several parts, that one must press and hold a "PLASTIC DECK RELEASE HANDLE" located under the end of the right side rail. Unfortunately, this handle does not exist anywhere on our treadmill. Pretty surreal to look right at the manual, see that it's pointing to a handle located under the end of the right side rail, and seeing nothing. So, bottom line, if you NEVER plan on moving/folding this treadmill, then consider it. Otherwise, find something where the manual matches the product.

Good Threadmill
We had an older threadmill that was find for fast walking but I could not run on it without it jerking, slowing down or shuttering. I had to constantly hold on to keep my balance.Spent the extra money to get one that would allow me to run, especially hands free. This does it. Doesn't add enjoyment to running, but I don't think any threadmill can do that.I am pretty hand with tools and do basic to advance remodeling/etc, with that in mind assembly was not difficult and should be easy for most. I would use a real screw driver, instead of the include one. If you need the move the base, which is heavy, do not cut the packing strap that clearly has the do not cut symbol on it. Like many I cut is before reading. Luckily I did not have to move from where I was unpacking it.PROS: Running is great on it. My knees and shins do not hurt as much as other threadmill that I have used. It is quite. Easy to use.CONS: None that I have noticed yet.Did have an issues with assembly, the screws (C) for attaching the lower handlebar shrouds did not fit. The whole was one size smaller? or different thread? I don't know but all hole had the same problem. Not show stopping. But would be nice to have the extra fasteners on them. Will go to hardware store and see if I can find the right screw.ANNOYANCE: Might just be personal taste. But the speed in which it goes from zero to your selected speed and your selected speed to zero is a little slow for my taste. Probably a safety thing.Meets all my expectations.

T616 is a good overall machine with a few issues.
I bought this model after reading consumer reports back in December 2016. Overall, it’s a good machine and it sits well on the floor. I suggest getting the floor pad for underneath.PROs:o I do like the built-in speakers however (see below)o I do like the built-in fan. Good placement IMHO but a tad noisy.o I do like the pacing function that is built in.o It has a 4 unique user memory so my wife and I can track our performances independently.CONso BIG NEGATIVE is the Nautilus Connect app. I took a risk by getting this machine with this tech. It does not sync with my phone (via Bluetooth), until after I complete the workout and go back to the root level (nothing selected). The app also does not run in real time like the video on the web sites advertises. It might be an earlier version, but not v2.0. Also, currently my Android phone’s app does not transmit the data to the Nautilus Connect website. As someone who uses Garmin products on the road, it would be nice to cross level data from the treadmill to my running data on Garmin Connect website. So far, a no-go. I would have stuck with a treadmill that works with the tech I have. My iphone had the some problem then for some reason, the T616 sync’d with the phone without any problems.o Even though it has auto speed buttons, the fact that it’s in 2mph increments is not that helpful if you want to punch in 5.5 or 6.7 like on other brands. Same with the incline. A 10-keypad would be nice.o ...the loudness of the music definitely depends on the device (iPod v. android phone v. iPhone) and the volume built into the sound file. There is no volume control on the panel which is a annoyance, in that I have to control it through the small buttons on my ipod or phone.o after about six months, it did started making some excess noise from the tread. I had to lift up the base, do some lube, then play around with the platform. It finally went away, but was concerned it was a permanent flaw.
