Crazy expensive for what it is, but very convenient.
Very convenient to use. Easy to cut, no dust, no mess. Yes, it's strong enough to walk on (just don't wear cleated shoes or high heels). Crazy expensive. Consider less-expensive alternatives from other brands. They're likely just as good.

Decent deal given what the other brands are charging
Decent deal for what it is. Frankly I don't trust Schluter Kerdi stuff that much as have heard bad stories, and my contractor had lot of pain and trouble with applying Kerdi-Band well and having it pass leak tests, but this was significantly cheaper than similar tray from Laticrete and other competitors. After not so great luck with Kerdi-Band for sealing seams and corners we just decided to coat all the seams, corners, and fastener holes and possibly non-waterproof-areas with liquid membrane and that seemed to work better. So don't feel forced to have to use other Kerdi stuff with a Kerdi pan. Just coat it with liquid membrane (and esp all seams, corners, maybe with the corner mesh etc) if want to go with liquid membrane. Using some polyurethane sealant in corners and seams (leave 1/8” gap to allow for it when installing waterproof foam wall board) before the liquid membrane doesn't hurt either (we used GoBoard sealant).
