RotatrimFloor Stand with Scrap Catcher for M54 Cutter

This item was purchased for work to cut A0 size plans and ink jet paper. Basically the materials used to make this unit are undersized and have many flaws.The cutter head guides (two steel tubes) flex, the cutter head rocks, the plastic paper clamp down bends all directions and has two screws at either end holding it down and the head can only be used in one direction.This was also purchased with a stand. When holding down the paper the base board flexes.To avoid ripping your material and try to make square cuts you will need to practice a good breathing technique with a solid core and strong concentration. I have used many rotary cutters, it should be simple and accurate. This has too many anomalies.The gauge of the materials used to make this cutter a more suited to a smaller size e.g. 18 inch to prohibit the flex.Would not recommend this model.
