SchiitPYST 1 Meter USB 2.0 Cable (A-Male to B-Male)

Excellent usb cable. Thank you Schiit Audio, and Straightwire. Sound is on par with aq pearl/forrest, and light years ahead of generic usb cable. Very good bang for the buck on this.

Purchased for ripping Vinyl to my PC for Whole House Audio. Works very nicely with Stellar Labs USB Phono Pre-amp and Audacity

Best in value /money. Sounds really good. No competition in less than $100. Next step (Straight Wire) is $ 150

Even for $30, this seems like a very cheaply made cable. To my ears, the sound quality was pleasant but relatively dull - the plain Belkin usb cable from my printer sounded more lifelike. Very disappointed, as I am a big fan of Schiit headphone amps. This cable just didn’t do it for me. YMMV.

Cables in the audio world are a huge problem - some folks what you to spend sooooo much money on cables that it's silly. Other folks say there is no difference between a $2.00 digital cable and a $500 digital cable. They really do exist!Well, I had a standard $2.00 cable and replaced it with this one because I liked having braided cables, and I needed a shorter cable than I had on hand. Plus, I was curious enough that spending just a little bit was worth it to me to find out about cable quality and sound.This cable really did make a sonic difference for the better and it's only $25. Buy this one and then just stop worrying about it. You don't need anything more than this for digital under most circumstances. I was not expecting it to make that much of a difference, but it did. I figure I've gotten about 99% of any improvement that changing out a cable could provide by going just one level up from the bottom.I purchased them directly from schiit's site as that was what came up on research, but same cables.
