This is a beautiful shawl purchased for a wedding, I wanted something that would pull out the light purple color which this does well as it has several shades of purple in it - kind of dip dyed effect. It has a discreet paisley imprint in the material but for intents and purpose, it looks like plain material. It certainly shouldn't put you off buying it.
