ESUMIC Waterproof 12V Red LED Digital Car/Auto Voltmeter Motorcycle Battery Monitor

Works well. I tested it from 2.9V to 13V, and it was accurate. Rated for 2.5V to 30V. LEDs are bright. The housing feels solid. The leads are screwed into the back of the housing, which is a nice quality touch. Has side panel-mount tabs.The product received doesn't match the product image, though. The received product does not have the "Digital Voltmeter" writing on top, nor the "V" at the bottom. This may be an issue if you use it on a panel with other indicators and need to know what this is displaying.Very simple to use; red wire to positive, red/black wire to negative. Display uses the power from the source you are testing. No additional components needed.

The product does what it says but needs a few other upgrades in the wiring department, The gauge of the wires needs to be a bit larger since i cant remember what gauge wire i was linking it to but it felt as if i would rip apart the wires if i put any strain on it. However it does do the job and quite well at that i had it connected to my motorcycle with a kill switch, it worked flawlessly in the weather at all hours. Just a few tweaks and it would be perfect.

I bought one to monitor the voltage on my motorcycle as I ride. I mounted it in my tankbag, and the unit is easily visible night or day. I subtracted a star because mine arrived with one of the two leads broken off. The supplied leads are tiny and fragile. I substituted in heavier gauge wire and added a bit of solder to secure it. At this price a little extra effort is no problem for me. Overall a nice little unit at a great price.

For the price, this Voltmeter is perfect for any 12 Volt battery monitoring. I use this meter to monitor the battery level of a battery I have installed in my cargo trailer. There was no dash or other flat vertical surface to cut out to insert the meter so I used double sided foam tape to mount the meter on a horizontal surface. The meter is light weight so I don't think any amount of jarring will dislodge it from the flat surface. The display is very readable within the cargo trailer but might be hard to read in direct sunlight.

Barely readable in sunlight, that is, you can tell its on, just not what the numbers are. Shade it with your hand and you can read it decent. Nighttime is no issue. Also, not waterproof. Moisture fogging up the lcd. Still works, just takes a warm day to burn it off.

I'm using this meter to check the battery status on my solar powered electric gate opener. I mounted it ourside of thecontrol box so when I drive in or out I will be able to check the condition of the battery. It is somewhat difficult tosee in bright sunlight, so I mounted it under the control box in the shade, but where it is visible as I drive by.It is perfect for this application. It seems to be high quality and rugged.I think I'll put one on my motorcycle.

SUPER FAST SHIPPING! Ordered it on Saturday, arrived on Monday. It was only from L.A. to San Diego, but still, thats pretty good. I installed it on my 2007 Honda VFR800. Installation was simple. There's a red wire (+), and a black wire (-). I tapped into a line that feeds the running lights. Works great so far. FYI- the display washes out in direct sunlight. Find a shady place to mount.

This is a nice and compact unit and is accurate enough for the job. My only complaint is I have to shade it with my hand to read it in the bright sun. I have this mounted on a motorcycle, so that is fairly often.
