I choose my title to emphasize that I did not have any shipping problems. It wouldn't surprise me if the owner of the company read the previous post and has made corrections to shipping. This is SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT I very highly recommend this to anyone. I get bottled water because sometimes the tap water does not taste right. I had bought a water dispenser that dispenses hot and cold water. I immediately regretted buying one of those devices becaue of the very slow water delivery. You have to bend down and hold your cup in position for a while, sometimes while operating the safety device for hot water. So, you have to hold your cup in one hand, and push those tiny buttons at the same time. THIS PUMP AVOIDS ALL THOSE PROBLEMS. The water flows very quickly out of the device. I don't even like drinking cold water, so I prefer that it not be refrigerated. Also, VERY IMPORTANT, I don't have to try to invert that huge 5 gallon bottle over an electic unit, trying not to get water all over the place. I HATE LOADING THE ELECTRIC UNITS! I also have a bad back and I'm female, I don't have the strength and have to ask hubby to do it. On the contrast, with the pump, you don't have to invert any bottles at all. And it is very easy to mount the pump. You just set the bottle on a counter and screw on the pump. I bought sturdy a 30" high wooden cabinet from Michaels. I think it cost $25 and I stained and sealed it. I can put my drink mixers in there, ie., lemonade, coffee, tea, etc. So it is easy to find a stand for the pump and bottle if you want one. I recommend the Michaels cabinet over any of the custom stuff bought on line. Regarding the quality of the pump, I've only had the product for 1 month now, but this pump seems very sturdy and it functions very well. Water comes out fast, minimal pumping required. It is easy to pump this pump.

This pump works awesome! It pumps out water at a very reasonable rate and without much effort. The tube goes all the way to the bottom but I do have to angle it slightly just because the jug is convex at the bottom but I'd still say a perfect fit. It's 100% manual which is what I wanted since I didn't want to have to charge something or replace batteries and if the world ends, this thing will still work :DI didn't like having the jug on the angled rack and it took up almost a whole counter. It was annoying. I also didn't want some large dispenser taking up floor space. This "lil" pump made for the perfect compromise with the smallest foot print possible and I have over 3/4 of my counter now.I have an AmericanMaid 5 gallon jug I gather came from Walmart (my girl's brother got it years ago). I also bought some caps off here specifically for it which do not work BUT this pump fits and seals proper. I only mention that since there have been some reviews about issues w/ the AmericanMaid jugs.100% satisfied and I finally am willing to fill this 5 gallon jug and lug it to/from my car (things are heavy when they're full ) :D

I bought this because of the good flow of water. After 3 weeks of use the flow was very low. I reviewed the pump and the fit but it didn’t get better. It worked better with the next bottle. It seems that the pump not always fits properly.

We read a lot of reviews about the Avalon water bottle cooler and it stunk we returned it now what we have all these bottles of water. My mother-in-law said you have to try the dolphin. We got it in one day. We couldn’t be happier. It is fantastic. All we do is put the water in the jug and we stick it in the fridge if we need cold water no big deal we like room temperature water anyway and it’s better for the body. This is awesome I have to recommend this 1000% by the way, the water flows out so nicely with the big pump. I love it.

This product is great, I love it. It is SO easy to use, it does not store water in the pump so it stays clean, and I could not be happier. If I had purchased it straight from the company which Amazon got it from, I would have paid $10 less, but I know that Amazon keeps my identity safe, and my credit card numbers, so I was willing to spend the extra money. The other site seems legitimate, but it does not have any security seals and so the price difference is the price of your safety. The shipping was slow, but it did make it to me on the last day it was allowed; just took a while to get it out of the warehouse. This was the best investment I have made in a while, it is now very easy to drink water, it is kind of fun, and I can take it almost anywhere because it is small compared to all of the alternatives. I could easily use this camping, it would be a luxury on a camping trip, but right now I have it in my dorm room.Update 5 years later:This product is still great, we use it all the time to pump water out of a 5 Gallon jug. I cut the extender down to size so that it would work without leaving two inches of water in the bottom. This pump is high quality, it has not shown any signs of wearing out yet, and it is still clean and leaving the water as tasteless as before the pump. Lowest maintenance pump you will find.

We use this with a Lavo brand water bottle when camping. The combination works great. The water bottle can sit upright. The pump is bulletproof since it is manual not much to go wrong. It screws on/off easily and so far does not leak. Suction is excellent. It feels solid, well designed, well made; not like something will break. It was pricey but we use it all the time so in the end worth the cost. Best to remove the pump if it might freeze overnight. Couple times we forgot, pump was fine after thawed out. Note that the pump is not compatible with all brands of water bottles. For example Walmart American brand bottles that cost about $7. The neck sizes and screw threads are different. If you stick to a water bottle that is designed for an office water dispenser (more expensive) you should be OK.Pros: Quality, durability, ease of use, long term valueCons: Compatibility with inexpensive water bottles

Update: This is my 2nd Dolphin pump. I was so happy with the first one which I've been testing every day in the house for a few months that I wanted another one. I bought the 1st one for my airstream to have in the kitchen when not hooked up to water. I bought the 2nd one to have in the bathroom where I wanted a smaller 2 gallon jug. The pump fits and works just as well on both the 5 gal and the 2 gal jug.I've loaded a photo of both sizes so you can see how it fits. For the smaller jug I just had to saw off about 1 inch of the internal tube to fit. I'm extremely happy with the quality.First Review:A friend told me to get this because her son uses it when he travels and he loves it. It was exactly what I needed for my airstream, but when I read all the reviews I became skeptical of the quality. I decided to trust the feed back from the person I knew rather than the not to stellar reviews I read on Amazon.ca. I'm very glad I did, because I love it and it's solved so many problems for me. It arrived in good packaging, the pump quality is great and it has pumped water with a good consistent stream every time. I have not experienced anything negative with this water pump and I've been using it for everyday for several months now. I would definitely purchase it again.

İt's very expensive

This is the 3rd one we have bought. They last several years so there is that. They use to come with a tube brush for cleaning but this one did not, good thing I still have the last one. These work, They just always work. even when there is no power. They tend to break at the top part where the tube goes into the pumper part. That seems to be the weak spot but by the time it breaks there they are several years old and probably need to be replaced anyways. I always look for this brand.
