I used a headband with corded speakers from another manufacturer and over time they stopped working because the cord would short out. I roll around when I sleep and the cord wasn't soldered to the speaker well. I decided to try Bluetooth and found these at a reasonable price.Battery life is good - Bluetooth charge on anything this compact won't last forever, but I get 8-9 hours out of a full charge. I play white noise at almost full volume and since I can never seem to sleep for 8-hours this worked fine for me.Downside --- something seems to be shorting out and the sound would fluctuate in an odd way that woke me up... but it was dependent on my head position. I returned mine because of this, but mine might have just been faulty. Without that odd shorting out, the would have been okay.Downside --- I have another eye mask I have used that is curved so it doesn't press on your eyes. This one is flat, AND it has a flap of fabric over the nose. I presume the fabric over the nose is meant to keep light out. It does work well for that, but the whole thing presses on my eyes in a way that took some getting used to. I would prefer a better cut-out for the nose and curved eye areas that didn't press on my eyes.Downside --- when changing the volume, if you hit the max/min volume, there are beeps that let you know you have reached the limit. Those beeps are REALLY LOUD, way louder than they need to be. That is a problem when you are trying to not wake up your partner.Downside --- There isn't enough padding between the speakers (and specifically the charging cable) and my head. This can lead to uncomfortable positions (I'm a side sleeper.) Not bad enough to drop a star, but it could be more padded.Downside --- as with any product like this, it can sometimes be a struggle to get the speakers to land on your ears properly. I used these to mask sounds in the room (partner snoring or watching tv, cat meowing, etc.) It was a bit of a struggle to keep the speakers on my ears. - work around for me is to turn the volume way up so if they aren't on my ears, it still produces enough noise to block other sounds.Noise Cancelling - No, not really. I turn the volume up to cancel out noise, but as far as I know there aren't any noise cancelling functions.All in all, I would assume the shorting out of the sound was a result of a defective product. If it weren't for that, these are adequate and I would have kept them. I am now going to try ear-buds and forgo the headband speaker route. I'm just not sure you can implement a headband style that really works for sleeping.

Pairing was simple and easy. It connected to my iPhone with no issues. The sound from the headset was a pleasant surprise. It's very clear with no static plus it also blocks out outside noise. The battery life lasts at leasts 7 hours and several days on standby.Unfortunately, it's not fully comfortable for me because I sleep on my side, so I have to shift the mask over. Because of this, outside light is not fully blocked. Be careful when hitting the controls on the mask. If you hold the play button down too long it'll make an unwanted call :-) .

This sleep headphone wraps snuggly around the head and provides good masking from light - a must for day sleepers. The headphones are spaced a bit wide for my head so I can get one headphone over one ear yet the opposite headphone is about 1 1/2 inches from the other ear. I dare not try to jiggle the individual speakers around for fear of damaging one or both connections. Nevertheless, I enjoy using it and look for an improved model in the future.

I received this yesterday afternoon. Last night I used it for the first time. I love it! The material is soft and comfortable, electronic devices were not noticed during sleep at all. The product does not come charged out of the box so give yourself a few hours to charge once you get it. I do have an ergonomic pillow, that the band did mess with my positioning a little bit, but a few small adjustments and I was able to fall asleep quickly. It folds up quite small so it's perfect for travel. As a sleep mask it blocks out about 98% of light. It paired very quickly and was extremely easy to use.

My wife sleeps with the TV on.. I hate it! I put this on, connect it to my iPhone sleep sounds app, and drift away before I know it!

I purchased this for my husband who has a trucking business and this really helps him sleep when he's out on the road.

This is the second time I purchased a Bluetooth sleep mask, and I couldn't be more pleased. This product does a much better job of blocking external light, remains more secure with the velcro strap, and gives a great sound.
