Loved it so much I ordered another right away!
I ordered this for my husband for some wireless active noise cancelling earbuds we have on order; they were very expensive, so I wanted to make sure he had someplace handy to put them that was NOT his pocket so they did not end up in the washing machine. While the cord winder is not something he will need for those earbuds, it is nice to have it so he can use the case to carry his headphones instead. This little case is genius-- a small, convenient, tidy solution to earbud and cord management. I could see how it would be a useful keeper for a flash drive or USB or other small charger cord, too. Most of the other earphone/earbuds cases I have seen are e much larger or are a clip that does not enclose and protect from dirt. This is a small neoprene pocket with an envelope/cuff closure-- the case tucks into an overlapping cuff to prevent the items from falling out. No zipper means easier one handed opening, so I think this is an elegant solution. I trust the neoprene to protect from rain, but obviously not if you drop it in the lake. I immediately ordered my own case as soon as I received the first-- I want to protect my headphones, too, and I also have a bluetooth one-ear speaker/mic-- I can fit my earbud style heaphones, bluetooth speaker/mic, and very small usb cord charger into one case. The cord winder is sufficient but could have been better-- if you use the top slot (opposite the two circles for the earbuds) to anchor your cord, it creates a sharp bend that may lead to fraying. I use in-ear type buds, not the little speakers that sit outside the ear, so the circle spaces do not hold the earbuds. I just wrap the cord around the center part and have no problems with crimping wires, etc. I would recommend this if you use and carry earphones-- it is a little smaller than the case that came with my Beats headphones and has the carabiner that lets me attach to my keys or clip to my purse.

Does the Job
WHAT IT ISIt isn't clear from the incomplete product description that this is simply a red version of Alpine Innovations BudKeeper Ear Bud Holder .What's omited from the product description is that there is a little well designed flat spool inside the pouch, to wrap your earbuds cord around.HOW WELL DOES IT WORK?> The budkeeper works very well for me. I use a behind-the-neck headphone Maxell NB-201 Stereo Line Neckband Headphones, Silver at home, which are more comfortable than earbuds. However I find it very convenient to have my earbuds ready-to-go in the Budkeeper when I go out. Just grab it, clip to a beltloop and go. Women can just throw it in a purse. Easy to find, can't get lost, protects earbuds from tangling and damage. (I also hang my MP3 player from a beltloop using a similar carabiner).> Wrapping up the cord and inserting the spool in the pouch is a time consuming, and the pouch gets in the way winding up the earbud cord, and it is hard to stuff the spool and earbud set into the pouch.SUGGESTIONI clipped out the spool, and now just wind the cord around two fingers, and finally 2 or 3 wraps around the bundle and stuff into the pouch. It's faster and easier. I use the spool for another earbud set.BATTERY STORAGEI greatly prefer AAA powered MP3 players because I do not need to be near a computer or haul around a charger, but I do carry extra batteries. 2 AAAs can easily fit in the pouch with the headphones, iRulu Brand USB 4GB WMA MP3 Music Player Voice Recorder FM Radio(Blue)

Clean Pouch For Earbuds
I've been using this case for a few months and find that it works well. It keeps my earbuds from becoming tangled and it keeps everything clean in my purse or pockets. However, it does take longer to wind and secure my earphones to the holder and there are times when this frustrates me. Yet, there is nothing wrong with that, the item is as described. Perhaps if I used in-ear headphones instead of earbuds, it might have worked a little better.

Best earbud case I've used.
I really like my new BudKeeper case. My dog recently got a hold of the case and gnawed away for a good 10 minutes and couldn't get through. Also, it holds my earbuds and prevents damage. I rated it 4 stars because the time it takes to wrap the earbuds around the inner spool part is longer than ideal but still worth it! I've used products in the past that consisted of a just a piece of plastic that you wrap your earbuds around. These work but don't prevent dirt and outer damage.

A MUST HAVE! Organizer, protective
I bought this for my daughter for a beach trip. These are her words "The Budkeeper earphone case is a MUST HAVE! It's compact, soft, and protective of my expensive earbuds. The carabiner that is attached is priceless! It easily attaches to my backpack, belt loops on my jeans & shorts. There was a way my daughter wrapped her earbuds so that she could keep some of the wires inside yet leave enough out to plug in her device & put the buds in her ears.I am THRILLED that the Budkeeper is made in the U.S.A. Thank you Budkeeper!

Great, light-weight, protective, tiny, clip-on earbud case!
I'm forever getting my earphones/earbuds tangled in my bag. Even having a nice cord-keeper didn't eliminate them getting bounced around and dirty - this little case does the trick - you can clip it to your purse, backpack or coat and the neoprene cover protects your buds! The pouch is very light weight tooThe only flaw in this item is the somewhat useless little "winder" that comes in the middle of the pouch... yes you can wind your earphone cords around it, but then you have to really work to get it wound tightly and to stay in place.. if your earphones are the wrong shape it just comes undone. I clipped the flimsy plastic "winder" spool out of mine and used my OWN cord keeper... and then retractable earphones)

Not bad
like that its soft and protective, which is what i wanted-plus small which i wanted as well- the only issue ive run into is that its destroying my headphones' cord in different places because its so small. Dont know if thats an issue on the maker's part, or if its just because of my earbuds size. Either way I wish there were more soft case products like this.
