Perfect humane mouse trap.
Within a week we caught 7 mice. It is super easy to use and clean. The clear window is so helpful. Only one small issue: one mouth tried to chew his way out and got his teeth caught in the side holes. It was hard to get him free but we did. I hope he survived. All the evidence of mice in the house is now gone so I'd say it was a success!

Great mouse trap!
I am extremely happy with this mouse trap. I wanted something that wouldn’t snap off their tails, and that a exceptional chewer of a mouse could not chew through. This was a problem I saw in reviews of some plastic traps. This trap is easy to use and set up, and we caught our mouse right away, within an hour. Peanut butter and bird seed worked great to attract him. We had to keep it trapped overnight because a snowstorm kept us from going out to release it. I was nervous that the mouse would discover a way out, but nope! I think he’s more comfortable in this trap than he was hiding out in our garage!

Mouse didn't want to exit
My biggest complaint about the product is that the mouse didn't want to get out when I opened the lid. It tried to hide in the entrance 'tunnel'. Since I was relocating the mouse at a distance from my house I didn't want to hang out waiting for it to vacate the premises. I finally was able to shake it out. Seems to catch them fine but seemingly difficult to release.

Don't buy this.
Caught only 1 mouse after months and months of use. We had to put out sticky mats and regular mouse traps, to catch mice. Old trap with out view still catches mice- frequently.

Humane but could stand improvement
This trap will catch mice without hurting them. But you have to consider (1) You need to check the trap frequently or else the caught mice will die of thirst, which is not very humane. (2) You have to have a humane plan for getting rid of the caught mice, such that they won't just come back, and (3) once inside the trap the mice won't come out until they want to come out. When you open the lid, they will hide in the entrance tunnels. If you shake or hit the trap, they'll just fall out of one tunnel and into the other one. The trap could be improved by eliminating one tunnel, or placing the tunnels diagonally such that when you shake the mouse out, he doesn't just slide into the other tunnel.

Excellent product
I Use two of these of which I keep one in the garage and one occasionally in the kitchen for any mice that manage to get in the house. I've been using this model for the last 10 years and have no zero mice escape once inside the trap. Very easy to dispose of any rodents caught. I suggest disposing any mice caught immediately as they are cannibals and will consume any other mouse caught inside which will be a grisly scene to clean up.

Up to 12 mice caught now
I keep this in the garage and it has caught edit 6/14 - 12 mice now. Drop a little peanut butter on a piece of paper in the center and they come looking. Easy to catch them live and release them to wild at the river near me.
