Q: What's the maximum weight this basket can hold without the handle pulling off?

Thank you for the great question! There is not an official tested weight capacity and I was able to find a few employees who have the product themselves; they said they're able to carry around at least 2 bottles of wine and then all the picnic materials/food for lunch.

Q: Does it come a a lid?

Thank you for checking in about the Country Basket! There are actually 2 lids, or a split-lid design, so you can open one side at a time to reach in. The lids are wooden and come already attached to the basket. Hope this helped!

Q: I received my picnic basket but I have nor received the straps to close the wooden lid. Is there a way I can get them send to me?

Thank you for reaching out and we are very sorry that the basket you received is missing the straps. There is a set of straps that should have been fastened when the basket was shipped out. The fastening straps are located near the flat edge of the lids and would be set up near the basket handle bridge. There are no straps for the curved, or front edge of the lid, that help keep the lid closed. It's smaller on the bottom but not by much, but it's actually a pretty big basket. It's better than the pic and the quality is great.
