Can you switch the band to a Velcro band

Casio does not modify our watches because we cannot possibly research variations from other models to see what 'might fit.' Such alternatives are not supported by the factory. We recommend the original factory OEM band.

these straps are uncomfortable for me, but I like the watch itself. Any strap replacement recommendations?

I adapted a Casio marlin duro strap and it works perfect on this watch !

Long live the bulletproof Casio

I love this watch, looks great, it tells the time, and it could probably shrug off the apocalypse.They also gave this one a way stronger backlight than the usual models!Battery lasts forever and is pretty easy to change yourself if it ever runs out. Have been wearing it for months and it barely has a scratch (and it has been banged about plenty) and it's gone through a couple of showers when I forgot to take it off and had seemingly no issues at all.

Love this watch

I am a big Casio fan (since the age of 7). This watch has a very unique look and feel. The Velcro strap makes it stand out as well and the green and black combo make it feel as if it was designed for the outdoors. Just a really nice watch.
