Great lens cap replacement for my Sony A6000 camera. Pictures are attached. This feels better built in terms of the spring mechanism from the standard cover and seems easier to grip and use. This lens cap does come with a piece of string so you can tie it off and tether to your camera.I took away one star as it would have been nice if the product had a hole on each side of the lens cap. I have this tied to the left side of my camera and when you do this, the A is upside down. If the hole was on both sides, it would be mounted in the correct fashion.

This lens cap has been so much easier to deal with than the cap Sony includes with the Nex5 camera. The grip is better, & it's easier to pinch its outer sides to attach it to the camera than Sony's own cap that works best pinched in the middle.Best of all, it has a "lens keeper" cord so that you won't lose it. I attached my cord to the metal loop on the left side of the camera, so that I am not constantly dropping it, misplacing it, & spending time looking for it after a photo shoot.Last, it has a nice red "Alpha" signature on the front to match the one on my camera, giving it just a little bit of color.

Great replacement cap. Have the alpha logo on it was a nice touch. It is a little bit thicker/bulkier than the original lens cap but it serves it's purpose well. It does have a little hole notch to put a string through to have it attached to the camera, which was also a nice touch. Let's see how long it takes for me to lose this one!

It fits on my lens, a remarkably odd sized one. And it was the cheapest one.Other than that, I don't really care about it.Though I found the little sony "alpha" emblem on the front amusing. And I am completely unsure of why there was a string included. It does fit in the little hole but then what?

Fits my 16-50mm NEX kit power zoom lens just right. Seems fatter than the stock cap, but I could be wrong. It's possible that I'm only imagining it because of the small radius of this thing compared to other lens caps. But I'm pretty sure the whole thing is a bit more thick. Works and is cheap enough to not worry about losing.

Its an ok cap. But it seems oddly bulkier than the original - sticks out further from the camera. The "cap keeper" is literally just a string, with no special ties on either end or anything. I guess the fact that the cap has a hole for a tether is worth more than the actual tether they sent. Anyway, its fine, it works, its a cap.

Fits the lens, does stick out more than the original. Provided string is not as useful as other cap keepers available separately.

Great replacement lens cap for my Sony a6000 stock lens. I guess I should use the lanyard so I don't keep loosing them!
