Best shower soap scum remover
Once I used this for soap scum I never went back to anything else. Absolutely no scrubbing involved, just use a paper towel and wipe. It's fantastic!! Just don't spray too much, a little goes a long way, or the smell might get a bit too strong. Otherwise I like the way my bathroom smells when done.

Gum on your car's fabric interior? Wax on the carpet? Grease stains on ANY clothing item? NO PROBLEM - DESOLVIT !!!!
We LOVE this product. Found it in 1999 or so and used it to get all the tar effortlessly off the car bumpers, grease off of clothing and skin.... One hot day our child stepped on the world's most disgustingly large chewing gum deposit in a parking lot and unbeknownst to me, pushed his feet against the back of the passenger seat in our new car to adjust himself in his car seat, leaving the nasty stuff all over the velour seat material.... I thought my life has now ended. This is a new car, what a nightmare.... I sprayed this on the gum, did NOT rub it in, just left it there for about 3 minutes then wiped the gum off with a rag like it was water on a counter top. I could not believe my eyes.Years later, the other child decided to see what was inside the candle....well, wax, certainly....on their t-shirt, on the carpet.... No problem! Took a few sprays of De-Solv-It and some patient work, but it took the wax completely out with no residue!!! Got grease stains on your clothing? Silk shirts? Sweatshirts? Tees? Already washed and dried them? NO PROBLEM. Spray desolvit on the spot, wait a few minutes, then toss in the washer. Your stains will disappear. Sometimes depending on the severity of the grease, I also dab some Dawn dishwashing liquid on it then toss in the washer.Sticky labels bothering you? Desolve-them! Just rub a little on the sticker and after a few minutes, wipe off. Seriously, this stuff comes in SO handy. LESS is more with this product. You do not need alot. Our first 32 ounce bottle lasted us over 5 years.Cons: don't spray and leave it, otherwise you'll have a grease stain from the product itself. That one is more difficult to get out. Go figure. And, if you have sprayed quite a bit on one or more pieces of clothing, the rest of the laundry may smell like this product. It's not a bad smell, but I personally re-wash to eliminate that. The Price is a bit high, BUT if it lasts you a few years, it's a steal !!!

Perfect stain remover for toddler clothes
I always hesitate to buy De-solve-it due to the price but it is worth every penny. The strong is a little strong but doesn't smell bad. It works wonders getting paint off of things or your hands. I love to use it for laundry stains as well. I was so frustrated that my daughter's favorite thing to eat was Mac and cheese or Spaghetti because I was washing her stained clothes multiple times just hoping to get the greasy stains out. Often I would give up on the stains. De-solve-it has solved my issue!!! I now have two little ones and haven't had a problem getting stains out in almost a year. I was so grateful to learn that it was safe to use on clothes. EVERY MOM NEEDS A BOTTLE OF THIS!!!

Works Great on oil/grease stains
I have been using this product for years to get out greasy or oily stains on clothing. I was happy to be able to order it on Amazon because it has been difficult to find in local stores. A few tips: it may need 1-2 washings to fully remove the stain. I add either some liquid detergent or another type of stain remover with it. You may want to let your laundry item air dry to check for complete removal of a stubborn stain and product instead of using the dryer. The extra steps are worth it and I've had great results on many types of stains and fabrics. I don't use it on delicate fabrics.

Worked great. slippery so watch yourself!
Worked great for removing adhesive under sticky peel vinyl that was over tile. Be careful when standing on it…. It’s slippery. Have lot of towels and a scrapper to get up the slippery glue and oil.

Favorite Stain Remover
This is my favorite stain remover. As a mother of five sloppy teens we always have stains :( but what I love about this product is I don't even pre treat anymore! After washing and driving of clothes have stains I simply spray de solve it and let it soak for 24 hours then wash again and stains disappear. Emmy kids must think their clothes are napkins cuz it never fails food grease stains always show up on their clothes and lots of other stains and de solve it always saves the day. It does have a strong smell to it but that comes right out in wash along with the stains! Won't live without it!

De-Solv-it sticky stuff/wax/gum disolver
I have used this for years. Red candle spilled melted wax all over new white carpet - took it right out. Not a spot remained. Gum stuck on shoe bottom - no problem to get it gone with DeSolvit. Best darned glue remover when an item has residue from labels and stickers. I keep two bottles on hand at all times so I never run out. If you have kids who get gum stuck in their hair, you will love how this product simply dissolves it with no pulling or cutting pieces out.

this stuff is amazing
I stopped reviewing stuff after Amazon rejected one of my reviews. There was nothing wrong with it. But what can I say? We'll see if this gets by the review police. I like to clean things. I like my tools to be clean. I like fixing stuff and I do some woodworking. So I'm always working with paint and stain and glue and greasy stuff. I've used lots of different cleaning solutions, most of which are poison or they just don't work very well. And then, a couple years ago, I found this. Just today, I was recaulking some of the siding on my house. Poly caulk. Very sticky. My rubber gloves were a mess. But I sprayed them with this, waited a minute, brushed with a stiff bristle brush. Got all the caulk off. Every time this stuff amazes me. And it doesn't hurt the environment. You can wash your hands with it. You can wash your hair with it. That's not a joke. The person who invented this deserves a medal.
