My son loves trains! We have tons of wooden tracks and accessories and typical cars. By far this light up gold is the favorite! It really does light up as the train is moved across the track. We like this one! It flashes when moving only. The top gold piece is removable for some unknown reason so we superglued it onto the cart so it wouldn’t get lost. When it’s not lit- it still looks pretty cool like coal.

This is my grandson’s favorite train car. The gold can actually be removed from the train car lights and put back together. When it is on the track, it looks great. Highly recommend!

I thought it was using kinetic energy but no it uses a battery. I was really disappointed by that. For the price I expected better quality.
