3rd generation costume maker bought everything this year:Washed normally, hung to dry solely to preserve "homespun" look. Did not bleed at all!Very pleased with quality, comfort, and fit.Pic taken after 10 hours of continuous wear. Blousing still perfect on our husky "model".Added beads ourselves, fairly easily, due to quality of provided suede thong...inferior quality would have torn under methods used. Thong did not bleed, either, though blackened suede of most types usually does.Grommets were all lined up exactly, in perfect condition. Flawless stitching throughout, no trimming needed, good quality thread used on good quality material. Unless grommets later rust (which can be corrected, carefully), will provide years of comfortable and good looking wear.Highly likely to buy more of these in different colors from same seller.

I bought this for pirate costume for a play I’m in. I’m a 5’2” petite girl and got the small, which was huge on me but that was the intention. It’s pretty stiff material honestly and the part of the cuff where your wrist is a pretty small opening when buttoned. My wrists are tiny and the opening almost fit snuggly (a slight bagginess to it, but not nearly as baggy as I thought it was going to be). This works fine for me but anyone with thicker wrists might find this to be an issue, unless you plan on rolling the sleeves up. When it arrived there were about 7 different loose strings in various spots, which I didn’t mind but could be an issue to others. The last thing is the leather string shed a ton. It left little black specks on the shirt whenever it brushed against it. Again, not a problem for my purposes, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Purchased this for my boyfriend to wear to a Renaissance Faire a year ago. The material is a little stiff and itchy so he wore a white cotton undershirt beneath. He's 6' tall and typically wears a size small shirt, and this fit fine though the cuffs of the sleeves were a little tight so I'd imagine it would be an uncomfortable fit for anyone with larger wrists. You can see what I'm talking about in the photo.It was a cheap & quick option and did the job, but it got kind of dingy after the first wear and we threw it away so I'm not sure how long it would last otherwise. It came with an extra leather tie string.

This is a well made good quality shirt and a sturdy durable fabric. I would have preferred lace up sleeves to buttons given the nature of the design and one more set of loops to finish the neck line. Overall I am happy with the purchase and will make the modifications to it myself.

This is an extremely well made shirt!! It came really stiff and needed a wash before wearing it but that just means that it will last! I suggest wearing an undershirt so your tender bits don't get rubbed raw. You'll have this thing a long, long time!

I bought this for medieval roleplaying, and it would be excellent for that purpose if it fit me well. This material is very durable and would hold up to attending a festival or LARPing, but it would probably be really warm. It felt a little restrictive in the shoulders because of how durable the fabric was (my shoulders are 15"). The biggest problem with the fit is that it extends so far down my torso and becomes restrictive around my hips.The package did contain two options for laces; I didn't try either one, but they looked like leather or a leather substitute.

The fabric in the photos looks sheen but the fabric of this shirt was flat and felt cheap, like the same type of fabric that cloth napkins are made from.

Got this shirt for Halloween and I’m amazed at the quality and comfort that it provides the material is top notch and I can wear it for every day use love the shirt

It was not as pictured or described. No leather lacing for for the neck. The cuffs were not as the photo. The colour seemed almost pale yellow!

Love it. Great fit. Looks good.

It was very thin fabric too small for a large. Really bad product.
