My husband loved the variety of book and the details in the illustrations. Easy to replicate.

This is the best series of drawing books for kids AND adults. I am an art teacher and have used these books for the last 6 years as a terrific way to convince aspiring artists (and reticent artists!) that if they can draw a simple line or shape, they can draw these compelling images. It's fabulous for teaching students to look closely, understand how to develop complex subjects by breaking it down into simple, extremely doable steps. Most importantly the books give beginning artists quick success which bolsters their motivation to attack the more challenging subjects.I love, love, LOVE this series and have seen so much success across a wide range of students that I whole heartedly recommend them.

This book is awesome! Originally, I checked reserved it from the library for a homeschooling unit on Ancient Egypt. When my 7 year old daughter saw it, she grabbed it off the shelf. She loves it so much I had to purchase our own copy.This book shows step-by-step how do draw Egyptian style motifs and people. If your child loves to draw or even trace, this book is for you! For an extra special art project, draw in ink and then go over with watercolor. You can even color the motifs, cut out the individual pieces, and then make a collage of them and add hieroglyphic symbols. Very versatile with a little imagination.

Ralph Masiello's drawing books are so liberating for people, both kids and adults, wanting and learning to draw. I have the entire collection in my classroom library and they are always a favorite go to choice for "center time."

Good book.... nice color and nice detail of the three books I ordered, this is the better of the three.

We're really enjoying working through this book. The instructions are clear and simple. My 9 year old has been able to create some great pictures with it. It fits in great with our ancient history lessons.

Perfect!! My grandson just loves Egypt! He has headdress and draws all kinds of Egyptian gods and ancient pyramids. He checked out a drawing book from the library, but now he has his own drawing book. I think Ralph Masiello's are wonderful for kids.

...and she is a wonderful artist. This book gave her more ideas and it is easy to follow. I like the book a lot.

My Grandaughter is fascinated with everything Egypt. We don't live near one another so getting together is only on special occasions. I like to send her small gifts that let her know I am thinking of her and this book certainly did that. My daughter told me the reaction from my grandadughter when she opened it was fantastic and the book is taken everywhere with her! Excellent choice on my part.
