Love this table! It’s exactly what I was looking for to add work surface and a place to eat in my little kitchen. I ordered the blue version and it is a beautiful deep blue gray.None of my pieces came damaged, and I suspect that has more to do with the delivery service than the packing. Mine was delivered by a third party truck rather than Amazon so this may vary by region.I assembled the table and two chairs by myself without much issue, even in my small kitchen. It took a few hours but I took my time and made sure to double check instructions along the way. They were pretty clear, just take your time.The pieces feel durable—not hollow or brittle. The paint feels like it might be a little soft or easily scratched so keep that in mind if you have kids.The matching chairs were very easy to assemble, match perfectly, and are super comfortable.Recommendations:- a screwdriver with a hex bit in place of the allen wrench provided- a power drill on a low setting to drill in the little screws under the shelves (there were no pilot holes on mine and the drill made the awkward angle easier)- try and tap the shelf brackets in as much as you can (gently) before screwing them in to minimize gapping on the sides- pay attention to the side you add legs to first; one side has two squares on either side for the shelf to affix to but it wasn’t obvious in the instructions so I missed it- fit the leg pieces that have pegs in before bolting/screwing in place- position all bolts loosely before tightening to ensure they all line up (may be obvious but just a reminder)- get help turning it over when you’re done if you aren’t comfortable lifting it so you don’t break the legs or bend screws when flipping it- I plan to add a clear coat of satin finish polyurethane to the table top to prevent damage as an extra precaution- if you’re worried about paint chipping, consider adding clear coat to the whole table

I love my new table! It’s so beautiful and very sturdy. I just put it together and am in complete awe with the quality. I was a bit apprehensive when I ordered it, due to the mixed reviews, but am so glad I took a chance on it. Initially, I was worried that I would have to assemble the wine rack, but to my delight, it came fully assembled and it’s a very sturdy and solid piece. All of the parts were very well labeled and protected. I assembled it by myself, and only needed help afterwards because it is so heavy that I couldn’t lift it upright by myself and I’m not a fragile or petite woman (5’8”, 175 lbs.), so I do recommend having someone to help you lift it after assembled. I’m very satisfied with my table and am looking forward to many years of enjoyment. Thank you Ashley Furniture!

I bought this after purchasing a particle board ISLAND that subsequently fell apart here on Amazon. I WISH I HAD WENT WITH THIS FROM THE START. Although this is a dining room table, we used it as an Island in our small apartment kitchen. Now that we've moved into a house, we use it as a folding table in the laundry room. It is super sturdy. The color is a gorgeous heathered gray almost. It's got some solid weight to it, but it's not so heavy that it is hard to move around. The shelves on the side made it a perfect space to store spices and bread while it was in the kitchen! Now the shelves house laundry detergent and a fabric shaver. I absolutely love how versatile this is! It's easy to wipe down and it came really fast. I didn't think it would actually be here in one day since it is a heavier item but it definitely was! If I needed to buy this again, I would, but something tells me this will last for years to come!

Love this table, roomie, counter height and additional storage on the end. Well worth the cost, looks and feels quality. The shelves are a bit harder to assemble but nothing to complicated.

This is a nice table if you are looking for something affordable. It scratches super easily and if you lay anything hot on it it’ll leave a mark. It’s cute and good for what I needed at the time.

This is perfect for my studio apartment. It has plenty of room even for 4 people to eat. I purchased 4 of the saddle type chairs to go underneath and they tuck away unless I have people over. It has some shelves on one side that I can put a few things on. I have one shelf with books, one with crystals and like items and one with family photos. it has a lot of space and looks really nice. It was easy to build and quite sturdy. It is substantial but light enough that I can move it around myself. Great functionality

I would not recommend this product. It looks great but the finish is so thin it will rub in multiple spots easily. I contacted Ashley's within 30 days of purchasing this and was told there was nothing they could do and gave me info for a place I can buy table finish. Since that time the paint has rubbed off in so many areas I need a new one. Found out 1.5 years later there was an actual warranty that I was told about for the finish but of course by then it was out of warranty. Ashley's would not assist me after going back and forth with multiple emails. I would not recommend this table. The chairs are wonderful.

I love this dining table. It is nice quality and looks great. It was a great value - less through Amazon that it was listed at Ashley. It was not very difficult to assemble. I did it alone in a couple of hours. It is a good size - could probably seat 4 but I am using it as a 2 top. It is a little heavy for one person to move, but it is doable.
