Anyone know of one of these panel mounts that will fit in a cigarette lighter hole if I take it out?

This one fits exactly in the hole my cigarette lighter was in.

What size hole saw are people using for this?

The opening on the mount is 1 1/8 inch. I believe that is what I used also.

chevy silverado has multiple accessory ports (cigarette lighter sockets). can i install this in place of a socket without modification?

I believe it will fit directly in place of a cigarette lighter socket or accessory port.

Does this work with apple carplay? i know it's just an extension but there have still been issues with this.

Bought this for my newly driving son last Christmas along with a stereo with back up camera and CarPlay. Have been fighting everything ever since. Now that he actually has his license, I really wanted the CarPlay to work so I really started working on it. The CarPlay will not stay connected and now won't work at all. Fought with 4 different iphones and settings with no luck. Then started troubleshooting with the stereo manufacturer until I removed this adapter and found it was the problem! This thing will NOT work with CarPlay. Maybe I received a defective one. Still trying to contact the seller to try and have it replaced. I'd love to get it working. I attempted to contact them. Hopefully, I can exchange it. The finished look is great. We removed the dash cigarette lighter on his Ford Ranger.

Superb quality

I have a car which had an old audio system, I got a new system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, and my car dashboard did not have USB sockets for connection to system, I ordered this, and happy with a nicely built product, it just fits into my car’s cigarette lighter cavity, no cutting required, and it works great as well.

Using this from past 4 years. No issues.

Nice product. Using this with Sony XAV-AX5000 car head using which exposes 2 USB cables.Using this to connect those in the background and fit in the factor located usb port of Suzuki Swift 3rd gen model(2018-21).Quality if good. No connectivity issues.

Dual USB-3 port,

Well after I changed my OEM car stereo to Sony XAV-AX5000 I had to fix the problem with two USB input cables which were lying in the Glovebox, That was not looking good and is inconvinient, So bought this for my new SWIFT . This one worked as expected
