The media could not be loaded.  The product is great. The family loves the lights so much that this is my 2nd purchase. The lights are bright and gorgeous.However, there are several shortfalls to this particular item. The magnets are a bit weak. It can easily get dislodge when the kids are swimming around. As per package info, this product does mention not to submerge the lights for extended time. So its waterproofness is a bit lacking. I had 1 light that leaked on me, so the other lights I started to put Teflon tape in hopes of extending its waterproofing capabilities. Another minor issue is the remote control when the lights are in the water. It isn't the strongest when you want to change the settings. It will get the job done but with some persistence.That being said, the price you pay for this item isn't bad for the quality.

This is a cool product overall. There is a problem with a couple of them leaking. but the real issue I have is that once the lights are submersed, they cannot respond to the remote control. In fact, the remote control seems to be rather finicky. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sorry I bought them, and will use them in the garden most of the year. Maybe in the pool during swimming season. But we have to retrieve them each time as they cannot be turned off from where they are.

Purchased Oct. 2020. Opened one to find that they eat batteries. Originally purchased to use on my deck but I expected LEDs to last more than 6 hours of life using 3 AAA batteries. The batteries don't always sit properly and become dislodged if you move the unit too much. Came in a pack of 4 for $20 which I thought was a little pricey for LEDs. I put them away maybe to use for a party instead.Fast Forward to Oct. 2022 - I decided pull them out to use them. The one I tested worked, but one of the LED's in the array was not working. The second one only lit up random LEDs. The other two, never opened until now, could not be opened to insert batteries due to the fact that they were screwed on incorrectly before arriving and the plastic threads wouldn't budge.Last comment - the LED's don't fully turn off unless you remove the batteries and the remotes only work at close range.Conclusion: I wouldn't take a chance on these, especially considering the price is over $30 now. Really disappointing!

Updated review:Well, here we are a few days later and I'm back. I'll be returning these. They are already not working, the remote responds half the time. I've replaced batteries and the lights still go out the same night. I'm going to have to agree with the other reviewers on this. If you're looking for one night of use, fine. But not ongoing. Also, you're supposed to pull these out of the water after use every time. We did and have them screwed on tight and are still having these issues.Original review:After a really disappointing couple of tries with some other lights I tried these. I wish I had tried them sooner! How awesome to get for lights all of which can be a different color. It’s made our Cue pond looks super cool. It comes with four remotes. You can use one remote for each light if they are far apart or one remote will work for all four. You do have to get close to use the remote but it works well. If you use one remote you can coordinate all the lights to be the same and go on and off if you wish.

Updated to 4 stars, left a light submerged in our fountain for several days and no problems......The remote never worked from 30 feet, tried multiple and about 15 ft was the limit above water. Once submerged I had to literally stand over the light for the remote to work. The lights may be submersible but they are not weighted and float, would be nice if that was clarified, had I known i would not have purchased. Brightness is decent, I have mine in a large fountain, will see how long they last. They say don't submerge longer than 10 hours and if that holds true i won't buy again.

I bought these based on stars and reviews. I did use thread sealant tape on the threads just to be safe; to guard against leaks. Probably not needed if you close them tightly and properly, but I'm all for taking care of my stuff. Working great; we just put them in the pool face down and let them float around. Remote(s) are a bit tricky, but it's the same remote for pretty much all LED strip lights and they are all that way. Infrared remotes never work well anyways if your not in perfect direct line of sight. Small issue that I don't worry about at all. We just turn them on, set them how we want them and send them on their way. Just remember to take them out of the water after use, will last much longer.

These are extremely bright lights! Very cool looking and the remote has an array of options. Only reason I didn't 5⭐ it, is because it says "submersible" but it doesn't sink. It's not heavy enough. Also, I didn't notice until I got it that your supposed to take it out of the water every night. Now I don't know what the long term effects of leaving it in the water will do. I very well may be just fine. Just going on what the instructions say. I just don't think it should say "submersible" if it doesn't actually sink. Otherwise great product.

These are very bright little lights but they flip over alot so we are continuously having to flip them back over so the light sides are facing down to light the pool up. Other than that these are really neat to have for night pool parties.
