I ordered a set of 3 at regular price and 1 set of 3 at a $3 discount that we're "returned" in "great condition". Ordered both sets in same order but obvs shipped from different spots. The used set came in a poly mailer & bubble wrap and as you can see arrived pretty damaged - I assume in shipping, because you can clearly make out in the photo they were "inspected" prior to shipping. The other pair arrived in a brown kraft padded mailer and seemed to have fared well. They are a bit small for my medium size female hands, making them difficult to hold, but I purchased for our Operation Christmas Child group who wrap 500 shoeboxes each year. I would think they will be fine for smaller hands and they appear to cut fine. I wouldn't want to use them for any major project where you are working for a long time with them and def not for fabric. Returned the broken scissors for a refund...try to save a few bucks and get smacked every.single.time.

These scissors have held up well and stayed sharp! Highly recommend. I've had them for over 2 years now.

I've tried other brands. Fiskars is the only consistently great, well-made scissors, and their fabric scissors are legendary.

One can never have enough pairs of scissors! I know in our house, I always seem to stumble across a pair that was left out when I least expect it, and then when I actually need 'em, they're nowhere to be found. It's annoying! On top of that, we had a few that have aged pretty badly and some that are simply M.I.A., so yeah, it was time to get a new pair.**Pro tip: There's a simple sharpening hack for dull scissors. Take a heavy duty sheet of aluminum foil (or fold a regular sheet multiple times) and make dozens of cuts into it. Each cut should be a little different, some using the full cutting motion with the whole blade, and others making smaller short cuts closer to each blade's tip. They'll get sharper with each cut you make!First impression of the Fiskars:Kind of thin and lightweight. Durability seems like a concern. Would they last? The blades are tinted light black and the handles feel comfortable in the hands, so those are pluses!After a handful of uses - cutting zip ties, paper, and cardboard - there were no issues. Bought these for school use. Used by myself in my first grade classroom. Did well with cutting laminating. Stayed sharp all year. Would recommend!
