Very nice oximeter at a good price
Got this on a free trial for my wife who is a respiratory therapist. She uses these dozens of times per day. This unit is reasonably priced for the features, and seems durable. Unlike others, all display functions are controlled by a single button. Less buttons are less things to break. Display is highly visible and easy to read.

Just Like At The Doctor's Office
There's something to be said for things that just work. This fingertip pulseox monitor does just that. It doesn't have Bluetooth or some tracking app, you just put it on your finger and it shows your pulse and oxygen saturation. There is a single button which turns it on and off, and changes the orientation of the display. That's it! Nothing more to configure or figure out. The monitor runs on two AAA batteries which are included. In this day and age I've learned to appreciate the simple things that just work, right out of the box. This one does!

Just What The Doctor Ordered
I have COPD and I'm currently doing Pulmonary Rehabilitation to help manage my breathing. The therapist checks our oxygen at the start of our sessions and while we are doing exercises on the treadmill and the stationary bicycles. She suggested that we purchase an oxygen monitor to use at home and on airplanes. I was researching various models and by sheer coincidence, it was on my VINE queue. Naturally I immediately choose it.When it arrived a few days later, I put in the batteries and checked my oxygen. It was the same that it usually in my rehab sessions. But of course I had no way of knowing if it was really accurate at the timeToday I took it to my session and the therapist used it after every time that she checked me on their professional units and ... the numbers were the same. She said that it was an accurate unit and well worth the price. Without this comparison, I would have had no way to verify it's accuracy.I saved almost $100 and got a unit that does as it promises.

Very helpful for people with respiratory or heart conditions
This Ulaif Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is very helpful for people with respiratory or heart conditions but it's also great to have around for peace of mind when family members are ill. This device measure your blood oxygen saturation and your pulse rate. It's very easy to use - just turn it on and slide your finger (or a young child's toe) into the device and within a few seconds, it will display blood oxygen level and pulse rate. The display is back lit and bright enough to be easily read. (Note that some nail polishes can interfere with accurate reading but I have never had this problem.)The device is powered by 2AAA batteries (included) and the batteries are easy to install. It comes with a lanyard and a neoprene carry case.If you or a family member has a respiratory condition like asthma or COPD, or a heart condition, this can give you peace of mind and alert you when medical help is required. But I find it helpful when members of my family have had a respiratory infection - it lets me know whether or not they are getting enough oxygen or if they need to see a doctor.I first got a pulse oximeter when I was caring for my mother, who had COPD. At the time, this type of unit cost $200+. I am gratified to see they are so reasonably priced now because it's a tool that is useful in every household, IMO. This one seems to be well calibrated and measured the same as another pulse oximeter I have. (BTW, 95-100 is considered a normal pulse ox reading.)

Handy
This is an excellent little device. With healthcare costs rising it’s best to avoid getting sick. Best way to do that is to look after your body and stay healthy. Being able to take your pulse and blood oxygen level is useful for medical and fitness reasons. Having a device at hand that can take a quick and accurate readings can be useful for everyone.Back in my school days we would take our pule the old fashioned way after a bunch of step ups onto benches. I have been using the same basic counting method until I discovered these tiny portable devices that not only take your heart rate (pulse) but can also read your SpO2 (blood oxygen level). I didn’t know these things existed till this one showed up.The device looks like an oversize thimble that clamps onto the end of your finger. It comes with batteries included and a couple of accessories like the small padded case with velcro clasp and a wrist lanyard. It’s quite an attractive little devices. It’s all white with a small color screen inset in the black face. It’s a small high quality high-contrast OLED screen that is very easy to read. To use it, just put it on the end of your finger and press the single button. A simple calibration of a couple of seconds and it will start counting your pulse on the right and displaying oxygen levels on the left along with a pulse graph across the bottom. It’s very simple to use and, since it’s small, you can easily wear it while exercising if you like. The blood oxygen level is measured by firing a bright light into your finger and somehow reading the results from there. An ordinary oxygen level is usually between 94 percent and 100. Under 90 and you are advised to see a doctor. Pulse rate varies with exercise, but a relaxed state should produce 60 to 100 beats per minutes depending on what physical activity and condition your body is in. Average is around 70 while an athlete can be down to low 50’s. As well as displaying the pulse the device makes a beep sound with each pulse of your heart. This ACCARE Pulse Oxymeter works really well and is great for monitoring your vitals while exercising or if you really need it. A handy tool to have, for sure.
