Wow. This truly is an awesome mask! I have only dabbled in masks and have liked most but this was the first one I took off and thought… yeah that WAS good!First of all, the packaging says it’s a peel off mask and the image shows a woman peeling off what I thought was a sheet type mask. I didn’t realize this was a liquid type mask you apply with your fingers and let dry, then peel off. The eye pads apply easily and are the sticky variety so they stay right in place. The face mask is thick and goopy and feels like Elmer’s glue in your fingertips and going on your face… which makes sense because it also peels off exactly the same way you used make “fake skin” with glue in elementary school. But I digress.The liquid mask is VERY pigmented and super gold. It’s actually very pretty and makes you feel super glamorous. As the mask dries you definitely feel a tightening affect. It’s comfortable though and easy to wear. Take care to avoid hair because this WILL stick to hair (again, just like Elmer’s glue). It will dissolve in water but it can be a little tricky to remove the mask if it’s stuck on eye brows and your hairline.When I remove the mask I honestly looked in the mirror and thought “OH WOW”! For me this mask has more of a cleansing clarify effect and my pores looked visibly smaller and cleaner. I really really loved the results and can’t wait to do another one.

Application was fine, although a bit messy. I feel like the mess is almost unavoidable when you have those sachets that need to be squeezed to get the mask out. There is plenty of the mask inside, and I had some left after covering my face and neck in a fairly thick layer. It shiny - that was pretty cool! Feels nice to cover yourself in "gold", hehe. But when the time came to remove the mask, of I wish I had an "undo" button. It was so painful! In some spots, mask dried completely, while in some other it was still too wet to peel. That immediately canceled all the excitement I had. I feel like my skin was too traumatized after removing as it was all red and irritated (sensitive skin here). That reaction went away in about 10-15 minutes, which suggests that it was a reaction to the physical irritation rather that the reaction to the mask itself. Not worth it, if you ask me.

I loved everything about this peel off mask kit! There are three pouches, which are labeled well, and directions on what to do. Each section is easy to separate and open.First you apply the under eye gel patches. They are soothing and feel great. Next you apply the face mask. I used a spatula to help apply the mask which keeps my fingers clean.The mask was cooling with a very slight tingle. I didn’t detect a scent to the mask. Once dry it peeled off nicely. It had just the right pull and didn’t hurt coming off.I used a damp wash cloth to get the very little that remained. The last step is to apply the moisturizer which smelled like lavender. It absorbed well and my skin feels clean, refreshed and hydrated. This is a fun mask kit that works very well!

I've used a few different masks before, so (mostly) knew what to expect - not as relaxing as a sheet mask, but satisfying to peel offThe gold color seems to come from a mica or something similar, so BE CAREFUL to avoid getting it on anything absorbant; it's as tough to get out as glitter from a carpet.The eye pads are nice, though they can crease and be difficult to straighten. They do stick well, only coming off when you want them too. The mask itself is a little on the runny side (again, be careful), but spreads thin and dries quickly as long as it's not too thick.It peels off easily, and any left will wash off with minimal effort. It leaves the skin feeling tight, and has only a slight odor from the adhesive. The moisturizer is a bit on the greasy side, but doesn't leave a residue, and is readily absorbed following the peel.At the price, this 3 pack is a good deal, and will definitely make your face and neck feel refreshed!
