What app do I need to get for sailing to use with glo2

I use Bluetooth GPS (Android) to connect to the Glo2. There is a YouTube video the show the setup. I don't anything about sailing apps, but there are some apps that will not work with an external GPS unit e.g. Waze uses the internal GPS while Google Maps is happy to use an external unit

Can the Glo2 be paired to two iPads at the same time - i.e. provide positioning data to two devices simultaneously via Blutooth?

Yes it can be paired for example flight crew with our iPads

My experience is that the Garmin struggled to connect to my phone for aviation purposes (skydemon) and required my to download a Bluetooth app from app store ... After this simple to use on a daily basis no issues ... So no you don't need a phone account just probably access to app store if u have initial connection issues

Can this be positioned vertically, on a pillar next to a car windscreen, or must it sit horizontally on a dashboard? Appreciate soonest help. Thanks!

It can be positioned anyway you like I have it vertically on a boat. Works perfectly
