I have a Airtel 100 mbps connection. The Airtel router is placed in the drawing room. I was not getting enough WIFI coverage in one of the bedrooms. The download speed on the devices in the bedroom hardly crossed 20 mbps. I just added a single unit of the mesh router next to the Airtel router, and now I'm getting almost 100 mbps speed on the device in my bedroom. Both the routers are kept next to each other (remember you have to connect the first unit using a LAN cable), even then the signal strength of the Deco M4 is much better than the Airtel wifi router.

The packaging was excellent — strong, clean, and professionally done. The product was delivered on time and was 100% original.When I started using it, I noticed the speed between the main router and the satellite nodes fluctuated a lot — sometimes up to 80 Mbps, and other times it dropped to just 8 Mbps. The speed was not stable.I contacted TP-Link support, and after reviewing my setup, they informed me that having 20-25 devices connected at the same time was too much for this model. They recommended upgrading to a Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7 system.Hence, I am returning this product — not because of any fault in packaging or seller — but because my usage needs a higher-end router. I trust CLICKTECH RETAIL completely, so I’m now going to buy the TP-Link Deco BE25 (Wi-Fi 7) from the same seller.I truly appreciate the honest service, quality packaging, and professional support provided. Very important to read before you buyA single unit of Deco M4 can’t connect to your existing WiFi router wirelessly. It only can connect using an Ethernet cable. If you purchase additional deco units, then those can join to your first main Deco unit wirelessly. Ie; a single deco unit does not work in a repeater mode like a WiFi extender. Deco is only useful if you buy 2 pieces of these. This is very cleverly hidden in their play of words.After some searching found the below from their faq. But it’s too late for me as there is no return and I will have to buy 1 more to make first one useful.Q2: Can I connect Deco wirelessly to an existing router to extend my existing Wi-Fi network?Deco doesn't support Repeater mode, only Router and Access Point modes are available.In the Deco network, the main Deco must be wired to a modem, router, or an internet cable to get internet access. In other words, Deco cannot be set up to connect to an existing router wirelessly. However, the satellite Deco can connect to the existing Deco network wirelessly.With just 1 unit, the WiFi strength it gives is worse than my existing WiFi router.

Great product. Super easy to install. I already had a deco setup in another house, so I already had the app. You just plug one of the units in the modem and follow the steps of the app. Within 30 minutes you have a mesh wifi setup that gives a very strong signal.
