It’s basically thin crisp packet material. I’m not sure how you could make a knock off version. As long as it bounces back light it should work.

As nicola is one of those fools that post pointless answers I'll answer They will be more than ideal for a homeless person but I'd opt to buy a heavy thermal blanket

Q: Can I use this as a cape in which to fight crime and instil fear in evil doers?

That's what I used it for, zero crime in my area now.

Fab for baby sensory

Baby Sensory - Crinkly & Reflective

Bought to use in baby sensory box. Huge size and makes a lovely crinkly noise when handled which baby loves. Not sure Id be happy for it to be chewed but as with most items in sensory box it is strictly supervised use only. We like scrunching it up and looking at the reflective surface.

Baby sensory essential

I lay this out on the living room floor for my baby to lay on. It offers a fantastic sensory experience, especially when paired with a disco light and some bubbles. My little boy loves the crinkly sounds and scrunches it in his hands. It is a good thick quality so he isn't able to rip it. My 3 year old has even tugged and jumped all over it and it is still in one piece. Bargain!

Good baby sensory activity

Bought to use as a sensory activity for my baby. Turns out both my children really enjoyed the crinkling sound and I can be use over and over again. Great price and would definitely buy again if needed

Ripped after first use

As many others have said, I bought this for baby sensory. Not sure whether I just have a rough 3 month old but this ripped in 3 places after 10 minutes play.
