This simple and easy to install glass upgrade kit works on Flashforge Creator Pro, Dreamer, Qidi Tech 1, CTC, Wanhao, or virtually all Makerbot clones. Why borosilicate glass? The stock rough surface bed on many Makerbot clone printers work great at first but tend to wear out after a few dozen prints causing adhesion problems. Borosilicate glass sticks well and prints pop off effortlessly when the glass cools down to room temperature. This kit uses real borosilicate glass which safely handles the temperatures used in 3D printing. What’s in this kit? -1 sheet of borosilicate glass glass (6” x 9” x 1/8”) -1 pre-cut sheet of thermal transfer tape -3 leveling springs This upgrade is super easy to do. Just peel off the stock tape from the bed, apply the thermal transfer tape, stick the glass bed to it, and swap the leveling springs.
