NHT SuperBuds In-Ear Aluminum Headphones with In-Line Controls (Black)

These are just too big and heavy. The cans are reallllly heavy, easily heavy enough to make wearing just one earbud in at a time basically impossible, or at least highly annoying with the other swinging around and tugging at the other. I sound is pretty good however, clean, over the top bass, started to faulter near the higher frequencies but wasThe Good:Good sound for what they are designed to be, overall clean in most frequency ranges, and super hard bass (if that is what you are looking for)Build quality left me with no doubts that they would lastLoved the 45 degree angle plug, flexible but never having to bend the deathly 90 degree that is a cable's worst nightmareMic control well placed, worked well enoughThe Bad:Can are HEAVY; when only wearing one earbud, the other will swing around like crazy and be constantly tugging on the other. Basically not possible to have just one in at a timeCan is also very wide, pushed ever so slightly on a part of my ear that after around two hours my ears would be just too sore to continue, ultimately this was why I returned them. I feel like you should be able to wear 100$ earbuds for more than two hours without pain.Summary:Really great for unbalanced bass heavy sound like I shamelessly wanted, sound was overall pretty good. I would have kept these if they didn't make my ears sore hence the 4 starts. If only the cans were a bit smaller and lighter it would be five star product.

I previously have owned Beats and after they would only last me around a year, decided I would look for another brand. These were comparable in price and the reviews on the bass in the system were good. I purchased them in April, it's now mid-July and ALREADY one earbud has cut out. I am a heavy earbud user, as I commute on a train to work, but only getting 3 months of usage is completely unacceptable. The Beats gave me a year and I know they are not the most high quality on the market.Construction: They tangle up ALL the time, that's annoying. The cord length is good, but the amplifier (the actual earbud) is VERY heavy. They pull out of your ears quite easily simply based on the weight of the amplifier. I have a Galaxy S6 Edge and the mic button did work for answering the phone and all music play and skipping of tracks.Sound: They are good on sound, but I just pulled out an old pair of Beats to see if I could get a couple days worth of use until I can get some new earbuds and I was blown away by how much better the sound was in the Beats. Especially bass. However, they are better than the average earbud in this price range.Overall the weight of the buds and the tangling are annoying but not deal breakers. The fact that I now have to go spend more money in THREE MONTHS after I spent $100 on these is completely frustrating and made it worth it to me to write a scathing review.

The buds are heavy but do fit snug enough to stay in even my small ears. The superbuds come with 4 sizes of silicone ear tips, and 3 sizes of comply foam tips. (I have bought earbuds twice this price with half the amout of earbud choices.) The cable is braided and the solid aluminum earbuds with gold plated audio jack lead to the most premium pair of earbuds I have ever felt. They come in great packaging with a code for a paid audio equalizer on both iOS and android. The earbuds come with a mic and button. The mic is good, and 1 press answers calls. 2 presses ends calls. While listening to music, 1 press play/pause, 2 press skips track. And three press is supposed to go to previous, but on my lg g3 that feature didn't work (I am not sure about on other devices) the sound quality in these earbuds are as good as I have heard in earbuds twice the price. These are perfect for bass heads, the bass is strong but also doesn't drown or even lower the quality of the mids or highs. Basicly they are perfect for their price range, I cannot find better earbuds with the same price

I have had these headphones for about 5 months so far and I love them. I hate harsh, bright headphones like the RHAMA750 which I found I had to be heavily EQed to be listenable. I am sensitive to higher frequency, especially 5k-8k.Like others, I find these to be well detailed for a headphone that is so smooth. Obviously you're going to be sacrificing a tiny bit of detail in the upper frequency but I'm okay with that because my ears don't fatigue and I don't have to constantly adjust volume when a harshly/hot recorded song comes on like other headphones.They isolate very well and they come with both rubber and comply foam tips which are nice and moist which tells me they aren't giving us junk. You also get all 3 sizes. I've received foam tips from other manufacturers that were hard and dry as a boot and only 1-2 sizes. I cannot hear someone trying to talk to me with either the rubber or foam tips nor can I hear most of what's going on around me. It's very isolating. It also comes with a clip for your shirt.The Bass is also a strong point in these headphones. It's amazing! It feels like I have full headphones on and sometimes I have to remind myself I am listening to earbuds. The Bass is that good. The Bass is north of neutral which is what I was looking for. Very powerful. The sound is thick and rich. I listen to all genres from Rock, to Reggae, to Electronic and I'm never disappointed. But when I listen to Electronic music I'm absolutely blown away. They shine in this genre.I love the cloth braided wire cable too. It doesn't have a mind of it's own and you can tame it and adjust it very easily. You can rub all over the cable with your shirt or hand and you don't hear it in your ears. So the cable microphonics are amazing.I hope NHT doesn't stray from what they've created in the future. If they continue to create something similar to the superbuds with north of neutral bass, thick-rich-smooth sound, good cable microphonics, braided cloth cables, then I they will keep a loyal customer in me.Since they are a little heavy, I wear these over-the-ear style and they stay in nicely.This is an all around fantastic earbud. It pretty much hits all of my needs. It almost feels like this earbud was made just for me. I hope NHT stays true to the superbud in the future.Update:Stopped working like many other people. But NHT was great about warranty and sent a new pair. However, this doesn't change the fact that my new pair will likely within a year as well. I will enjoy these as long as I can but I'm sure it won't be for long. Probably should stay away from these.
