Rodelle Pure Almond Extract, Value Size, 16 Oz

I bought this, because I ran out of my almond extract. I was a little hesitant at first also. But I read the reviews …and that helped a lot! This one tastes very good! Nice almond taste and the smell?…..AMAZING :) hint: if you’re making cherry pie add a 3oz pkg of Zero sugar cherry jello in it. It does something amazing to the pie! And yes, you’ll thank me! Very good almond extract but the packaging needs improvement. The seal was half open and the cap slightly loose when it arrived. it did leak some. Maybe securing the bottle to keep it from rolling around in the box would help.

This stuff is so economical to buy as opposed to the grocery store. I needed some for my Christmas baking and my store was all out of it. I didn't want to wait so I ordered this and received it quickly. It smells so good and the taste is just as good as the brand names.

I smelled this when I first opened it and thought I made a big mistake because the alcohol overpowered the scent. But I've used it in smoothies and baked goods and it's delicious.

I make a lot of frosted sugar cookies and frosted sugar cookies call for pure almond extract - at least my recipe does. In past I made hundreds for Christmas parties for a financial institution - these cookies using this almond extract were such a hit I had to provide recipe for attendees.
