Inexpensive but effective
I installed the disconnect on my boat battery negative post. It fit securely and it cuts off power by rotating the knob.

Good except the post is tapered.
Killswitch works fine. 5 rotations and the connection is restored or severed.Took about 5 minutes to install and required a 13mm and 10mm socket. 13mm to attach the killswitch to the battery post, and the 10mm to attach the cable to the killswitch post. The killswitch post is tapered, and I needed to build it up by wrapping some bare telephone copper about a dozen times around the post, then tightened the cable all the way; seems to hold up and connection is solid. If you have a tight space, this might not work for you as the top of the knob is almost a full inch, 20mm above the top of the battery post and sticks out ~3".

Best purchase ever!
Purchased this item for my 1929 Model A and it works perfectly. Best purchase I had made since I have a small power drain on a 100-year-old vehicle I drive 10 times a year.

Worked for My Tractor
Inexpensive battery disconnect. While I don't think my tractor uses any power when turned off (no radio etc), I wanted to ensure no battery drain while not in use. Since I was putting in a new battery and setting up connections for a maintainer/charger I though it would be nice to include a disconnect for periods of non-use or when charging or maintaining the batteryThis fit the bill without spending much money. Well made and fit perfect on standard top battery posts. Can recommend and would buy again.

Poor design, terminal post of the product is too small in diameter for negative battery cable.
I am restoring a classic car, and would definably NOT recommend this product, even for a daily driver. The terminal connection for your cars negative cable is too small in diameter to achieve a tight secure connection ( my battery cables are brand new OEM spec ). I attempted to make it work, so I'm therefore unable to return it. It will most certainly be the source of problems IF left installed. BTW China is the country of origin.
