BLACKHAWK Ambidextrous Flat Belt Holster, Multi, One Size (40FB02BK)

This belt holster from BLACKHAWK is a very versatile and economical item to have around. This holster will fit most any semi-auto handgun from small to large. A good number of revolvers would also fit.For under $20, here's what you get:- A good quality nylon fiber holster that fits flat to your belt- Ambidextrous, can be used on either side for right or left hand- Includes a thumb-break retention strap, which is removable- Sized to fit a very big assortment of gunsThe reason I purchased this holster is so that when I buy a new gun, try out a new gun, borrow a gun, etc. I can have a holster to use for it immediately. This will never be the permanent holster solution for any of my guns, but it is the perfect "one size fits all" temporary one until I decide on a permanent holster. If you've ordered a custom holster from a holster maker (including many of the top names) you know that you will often have to wait several weeks (or more) to get it. During that time, the BLACKHAWK belt holster gives you the functionality of being able to wear the gun while you wait.Would I use this holster as an EDC solution? Doubtful. I even removed the retention straps the minute I took it out of the package. You can use it as an EDC (that's 'every day carry') holster if you want to - but let's face it - you have hundreds of dollars in the gun, hundreds more in training and education, you're going to use more than a >$20 holster to carry it in. For me, this is for the range - and as a temporary use holster only. But that's not a negative at all. That's exactly what I purchased it for - and it is perfection for that purpose!

I am a left eyed dominant man who does everything else right handed, but not shooting. Its so hard to find a LH holster. I bought this thinking it has to be it and it WAS... Blackhawk has great products..This holster conceals really well and you can set it up for the barrel outside the belt and inside the belt. Of course outside the belt is more comfortable but less concealed. Inside the belt is more concealable and like a IWB (Inside Waist Band) holster, but your barrel is still outside the pant. This is much more comfortable than a IWB holster because the barrel can move and flex when you sit, stand, bend over, etc..It holds a Glock21 (tried in a gun shop), my H&K 9mm USP Compact, Ruger LCP .380, S&W 38 Special, Sprinfield XD9, S&W 357 short barrel. Just to give a range of ideas..It is easy to set-up without directions and used velcro for the retension snaps. I love this holster it replaced my Blackhawk Ambi IWB holster...*** Be aware that this holster will show if you shirt is not long enough or you bend over it might catch your shirt, revealing your weapon. So you need to experiement with placement and shirts / movements to remain concealed.. But that is a human preference not product flaw.***

A well made belt holster. Very heavy fabric, will wear well and for a long time. Instructions, however, were lacking; and utilization is not intuitive. It's not super difficult to figure out - I did - but.... I should point out that it has a very wide range of adjustment for pistols, from medium framed to large, but ensuring the medium frame, e.g., a Star Model S, doesn't fall through is an experience. Once setup, tho', it works well, unobtrusive, holds the pistol close to the body. For CCW holders, law enforcement types, etc., it facilitates concealment, with reasonably quick access. Price is reasonable.

excellent comfortable holster for small concealed carry

The quality is fine. Might be better for a semi-automatic but re-holstering a small frame revolver take 3 hands. My only issue is the nylon holster doesn't maintain the opening so re-holstering is difficult.

Best sleeve holster I've ever had. When carrying holds secure and comfortable against your side. When in the office where not allowed and I lock weapon in gun safe in car is is basically unnoticeable on a black belt and dark pants. I've used for the following with no issues on fit or security: Ruger LCP, Sig P238, Taurus model 85 .38 snub nose and Beretta PX4 Storm. Wouldn't go bigger than that size though. With that size pistol or smaller it literally disappears under a long shirt tail.

Excellent quality and value! This is an adjustable scabbard style holster with a very strong hook and loop with a top snap retention strap. It securely mounts on your belt. The stitching is extremely strong and we'll done. Can be adjusted to hold a all sizes of pistols and revolvers securely but provides great access when needed.It is made of tough ballistic nylon that does cause abrasion over time to jacket and coat linings when using it for concealed carry.If you are tired of having to buy fitted holsters for every weapon you own this is the holster for you.
