PHOENIX RYDERS Electric Skateboard Top Speed 25 MPH, Max Range 18.6 Miles, Dual Motors Electric Longboard with Remote Controller

I’ve ridden several electric boards and the Phoenix Ryder P6 has the best torque by far. I’m 6 foot, 260lbs, a big muscular man who loves to longboard and snowboard. I’ve always been hesitant with buying an electric board myself since those I have ridden previously just couldn’t handle my size and love of carving. Not so on this board, in performance mode, this thing nearly throws me upon acceleration. Even in economy mode, it still has the power. The deck isn’t flexible at all, but as a big man with big feet, that’s perfect here, yeah, I feel the road but its stability is great.But.....because I’m big, the range suffers, a lot. I get maybe 3 miles on performance, and maybe 5 in economy mode. I use it to commute from my parking space to work, about a flat mile. I have to charge every other day. The board is heavy, which isn’t really a negative but it’s awkward so the lack of a handle is.Suggestions for improvement:Perhaps a top plug for a second battery to extend range, the battery could clip on the nose or tail? Or a hot swappable battery so I can carry a second one in a backpack.Make the board about 2 inches wider and provide cutout handles on both sides.Add carbon fiber nose and tail protectors to protect the deck.

 Used this skateboard for about 1 week, first impression is that I probably got a used board, and that is probably the main reason for my 2 stars. The board has some design wins, I list them in the PROs and CONs belowCONS:First of all, my board came with some small dents on the metal part of 1 of the 2 motor wheels which was quite suspicious; add on to that is the fact that it heavily skews to the left, as I show in my video. I have 8+ years in skateboarding and I know that the skateboarder can adjust for it, but the best way for me to balance is to place one feet partially outside of the skateboard, which is not comfortable to do with a concave skateboard design. So while I am a fan of concave boards, this case its a negative because the skateboard is skewedSecondly, the remote makes a rattling sound, which means some parts inside are loose, I can't imagine that's part of the design. It so far works as expected I should add, except for a rare software bug for when you push to start in reverse mode and then try to change to forward mode while in motion, it doesn't respond.Thirdly, the grip tape comes off really easily, it arrived with a defect and the place where I grip the skateboard to carry it has already messed up the grip tape after 1 day of use. They really need stickier grip tape with more grip!PROs:* The remote has haptic feedback, this drains battery but is IMHO an important safety feature!* The skateboard can manage quite sharp turns compared to other electric skateboards* the skateboard does not experience too much speed wobble at high speeds, which is probably because the battery at the back is very heavy and that serves to stabilize it. The center of weight is actually about 1/4 from the back from the skateboard.Once I figure out how to contact the merchant and sort out some of the problems, I'll update my review

I absolutely love it!! I take it to work or just cruise around my city. I would highly recommend getting this board. It's cheaper than a lot of other boards and performs just as well if not better. It performs better than the stats say.Powerful, FAST AND COOL!

This skateboard stopped working after one day.would not recommend.

I just received the board a few days ago and it was a lot more than I expected. It had very strong acceleration and the brakes to match. I live in Monterey Park, Ca where there are a lot steep hills and open roads. This board is ideal for that because it can accelerate up the hill at top speed smoothly and it definitely beats walking! Both the acceleration and De acceleration worksvery compliant to the remote. It makes it easy to navigate when tackling steep roads with a lot of twists and turns. It has 3 different speed modes and is easy to control for all skill levels. There is a speedometer near my house and I used it to test the speed and I clocked in at 23 MPH! I like it because its fun, quiet and real fun when you meet up other friends to ride with. It almost feels like snowboarding in the offseason! lately, to save money on gas and economical reasons. I use it as my main transportation to work and saves me tons of time. It also has an incredible battery length, It lasts about 15 miles on a full charge. I am about 170 lbs and it holds my weight perfect. I am really satisfied with my purchase!
