Q: We want to deter wood pigeons but not blue tits/finches/robins. Would the gel work for this?

Q: Can Bird Free Fire gel be fitted to a sloping skylight?

Bird Free Gel can be fitted to most surfaces horizontally or vertically using a silicone adhesive. It has a stabilisers within the ingredients that prevent it from sliding out of the dish and it will withstand wind and rain as well. If you're happy to stick it to your skylight, you won't have a problem with it soiling your windows and when spaced as per the instructions it will alleviate your nuisance bird problem.

Q: How often do I need to replace them ?

Once installed the dishes need no maintenance. The dishes will remain fully effective for a minimum of three years. Having said that we have installs still in place and working to their full effect 4 & 5 years after the install date. It is worth noting that the dishes may discolour and darken over the years but this does not alter the effectiveness.

Q: I have a problem with pigeons on my roof. Would I install this product directly on my roof or could it be put in the attic (ie under the roof?)
