Multicolor Submersible LED Little Waterproof Lights for Special Events (12-Pack) and Centerpieces for Parties

Okay, so mine all worked great when I used them in our pool at our daughter's wedding, but if you plan to use them again, and want to avoid rusting, you need to following these steps.1. Turn on by screwing tight. Some will rotate more than others, but be sure you rotate as much as possible even after the light goes on. This is to keep the water out. Too tight and the casing will break, though, so be careful.2. Throw in pool or water feature, or put inside white balloons with a bit of water (to keep them heavy enough to stay inside the pool) and then blow up the rest of the balloon with air. You can also just do air and put the balloons in trees or other places for outside decorations. If there is wind, the balloons will end up floating to one side of the pools, so get a lot of them (I did 48 and I wish I'd done more--my pool is 20' by 40').3. After you are finished with the party, remove from water or balloons and dry outside AND inside. I waited a day and some had already started to rust inside. About 14 out of the 48 I bought had water inside, so either the people I had helping me turn on the lights didn't screw them on tight enough, or they simply leaked. Whatever. If you want to reuse them, just dry them out.4. I'm keeping my lights and batteries separate until I need them again. They are simple to reassemble. Glad the batteries are replaceable.

This product is good just for one-time use. Say you have a party, throw these 12 little lights in your swimming pool and you're really up for quite a light show. I was pleasantly surprised with the intensity of these lights, they literally illuminated my entire pool and it looked like a real night club!BUT, if you don't turn them off (i challenge anyone to care enough to do it once they're at the bottom of your pool), they will last AT MOST 2 nights. The battery in these little lights can not sustain prolonged use, probably because the lights use so much power to be so intense.I would still recommend them, i mean, for 10 bucks that's a great feat for any party. But don't expect them to last, unless you're ready to dive in and pick each of them to turn them off, which by the way isn't easy to do anyway, since there's no switch on these lights, you need to screw/unscrew their base tightly to turn them on/off.PS: i thought at first 2 lights were not working at all, but if you insist or hit them a little you will see them turning on.

I love these lights. I purchased them not expecting too much based on the price, through the reviews were overall good. When they arrived and I tried them out I was delighted by how well they worked. I submerged them in water that I had colored using highlighters to get a neon effect for a 90's themed party we were hosting and the result was fabulous. The way the lights change color gradually is really subtle and though I purchased them specifically for this themed party I definitely plan to use them again in the future. I expect that they will produce a very elegant result when paired with the right flowers and vases. Per other reviewers' recommendations, I opened each light and laid them out on paper towels to dry before packing them up to store. No rust formed and they were all still fully functional after they dried. I definitely recommend these, especially at this low price.

These arrived on time and in good condition, some of them had to be twisted VERY tightly in order for the bulb to work. Please note that they look virtually identical to similar LED lights which change color automatically when they are on - these DO NOT and I don't think it was very clear in the product title/description/photos that they wouldn't do that. They do arrive in different colored bulbs (i.e. in a box you will have 2 white, 2 off-white, 2 orange, 2 red, 2 blue, etc.); however, that is different than those that will switch through a range of colors on each bulb -- the similar looking ones from Hobby Lobby for example will do the range of colors on one LED light. Thought it was worth clarifying for the consumer. They did still work out great, lasted many hours on table centerpieces and looked good - so I guess I can say "all's well that ends well".

i have only tested them but have not used them for the events I wanted them for yet. The only difference between these and the ones at Michael's is how bright the bulb is. The ones from Michaels have little beads on top of the light to diffuse/soften it a bit and could be used alone at the bottom of a vase of flowers/candles.These ones are quite bright and would need marbles over the top to make it not the sheer focus of the table decorations. These would be perfect "as is" for a lively New Years Eve bash.They are nicely made and come with two batteries in each light.Once again...good for the price!
