Is this a spoonula or flat spatula? Also is it pretty flexible?

Is this spatula BPA free?

That is a good question to raise with Rubbermaid. I don't recall a product specification sheet being part of the packaging. Since I use the spatula only occasionally, mostly with room temperature batter, I was not concerned about the possible presence of BPA in the handle.

China, where else! (Sarcasm). However, it is very durable and well made. I specifically like how the white part does NOT get stained in tomato based sauces since it is meant to be heat resistant, up to 500F I believe. Make sure you get the heat resistant ones though. I use it for everything, stirring sauces, scrambled eggs, sauteing mushrooms etc. I love it and have several of them, including the plain flat head ones too, but I prefer to use the scoop shaped ones the most.

Great product

I love this spoonula! It works great scraping mixing bowls clean. It fits well in a peanut butter jar to get all of it out. I use for cooking sometimes. I have several of these. I also bought the longer one for bigger batches. The spoonula part is rubber and can be cut with sharp edges, so be careful. I’d highly recommend this item.

Perfect spatula for a busy kitchen

This is a great spatula. Easy to hold and keep clean, sturdy and won't break easily. Workhorse in the kitchen and just as good scraping out batter as it is whipping up scrambled eggs!

Best one out there.

I couldn't function in the kitchen without this. I have two so when one is being washed I have the other. The are heat resistant and more flexible than the regular Rubbermaid spoon spatula. Excellent for scraping bowls out and stirring while cooking etc. Best price price I can find too! I highly recommend this item for hot food cooking.

Rare 5 Star Rating! It's Perfect!!!

25 years ago I was given some of these and told the ones with the red handle are heat resistant. I immediately fell in love with them. Over the years I have bought more of all the available styles and sizes. I currently have 6 of them and use them almost every day. I will never not have these in my kitchen! They are fantastic!! My first one lasted for 10+ years!!!

Car This is a heavy duty spatula/food scraper with a very durable and sanitary design featuring a food grade high temperature stable silicone working end.
