Very inexpensive and will save you a ton of time and frustration trying to pick out those pesky cottonwood seeds from the skimmer basket. Found these last year a little too late and spent way to much time pulling that stuff out of our skimmer. With these we'd just check the basket a few times a day. If it was getting too full of the seeds we could turn them inside it and pull the cotton off in a sheet so we could reuse the sock. It also catches the smaller debris so it doesn't make it into the filter. Well worth the money spent.

Definitely money well spent, will help prolong the life of our pool pump, highly recommend these. Will stretch to fit just about any skimmer basket. After I put a new one I I wash the old one in Dawn, rinse well & then I can reuse it. This box will last for at least a couple of years.
