Relief Pak Heating Unit, 4-Pack Stationary with (4) Standard Packs, 110V

I have had 5 Chattanooga Hydroculators since 2007. My first unit was a workhorse and lasted for years. The next one was good and lasted for a good amount of time. The last three were terrible. The third one I bought was 18 months and dead. The fourth was dead in 11 months so it was covered by the warranty and they sent me a new one that again only lasted about 18 months. At $500+ a unit that is ridiculous. This unit was much more reasonable in price, has much better features. I really like the ability to shut it off at night as well as weekends and holidays. Has a great dial to set the right temperature. The Chattanooga's are terrible for that, they have a little metal dial in the back that is hard to twist and you have to purchase a separate thermometer to check the temperature. I purchase my Relief Pak Unit in Sept 2024 and its running great. It's easy to clean and unlike other comments, I have had no problems with the hot packs. They have no smell and are still doing great. I anticipate that they will even last longer because I can turn the hydroculator off at night. I'm sticking with these units, I will buy a Chattanooga again.

Not very big for large back pads, but excellent for a neck wrap and two smaller pads. Perfect temp. Gets pads ready in 10-15 minute soak. Has divider inside for separate pads. Compact and takes little space.

So far, I haven’t been able to use it because of the awful smell. I’ve tried everything to get the smell out. Literally smells like the bottom of a rotten swamp

The machine itself works fine, however the packs that come with it have my office smelling fishy...uggh! Fortunately I have packs from a previous unit to use.

It is very good , resistant and practical , better than the others

I really like that this unit has a temp adjustment and an on off switch, I took away a star as the hot paks stink so bad I am going to have to drain the unit and soak them in vinegar or something to neutralize the stench... have never had such foul smelling hot packs and Have used them for many years.not happy at all with the quality of these.the packs smell like rotting fish and I am not happy with them or the seller who says this is the natural smell of clay... I use clay on a regular basis and it never ever smelled like this. I have had hot packs in the past that never smelled like this. They are rotten.. very much so and am not happy I down rated the stars on this not because of the unit but because the packs smell like they are filled with rotting materialthe unit itself is working nicelythe people who sell this want me to pay for the shipping back and restocking of a foul and noxious item which is wrong...

Has template control on the machine which is nice for the price. I use it home for personal use. I'm a physical therapist used different machines.

The lid has melted off within a year.
