I snorkel several times a week, and needed a pair of good booties to protect my feet in rocky areas. I have another pair from a different company, but they leak sand, and fit very loose. I saw these and liked the strap option, as well as the higher cut. I had a chance to use them last week, and they work fabulously! The fit was little big in the toe for me, but you can pull them up tight, then fasten the strap, and they stay nice and snug. I really liked the thinness of them, it was easy to feel my way through the rock as I was entering the water. My old booties would get loose as I was snorkeling with my fins, and usually the heel would stick out the back, and cause my swim fin strap to slide off! These booties stayed snug, comfortable, and felt wonderful during my last 2HR snorkel trip. Best of all, the strap feature kept ALL the sand out. I love not having to wash out my booties in middle of the ocean, because of sand! Also after snorkeling, when I took them off, my feet were clean, and free of cut. I'm super happy with these booties, and would definitely recommend them to anybody. It's worth it to not worry about getting infected coral cuts on your feet!Update-I just received my new set of booties, and tried them out. (Someone stole my last pair.) They fit even better than the first ones, the redesigned longer Velcro helps the fit, and they are even more comfy. This company is great to work with, and they will proactively help you with any problems of feedback you might have. It is so nice to see that there are a few places that do actually stand behind their products, and care about their customers!

These were so comfortable. True to size. I’d definitely order again!

They don't have hanging loops for drying or velcro straps like my previous BPS socks. They appear to be quite weii made like my old ones. I use them under flippers for comfort while swimming laps. I try to swim 100 miles a year in a chlorinated pool. I wasn't too good about rinsing the old one after use. The chlorine finally got to them. I'll be sure to rinse them better. Thanks BPS.

Good fit good & make. Excellent for the beach. A must have for the beach at night or lake. Boyfriend loves them I have a pair also. Highly recommended

We bought these to keep our feet warm & not necessarily dry. It did keep our feet warmer! We didn’t mind that our feet got wet. They were warmer & we could still feel the ocean water.

Ordered an XL and it said it would fit mens 10-12 and it is more like me a 6-8. Very disappointed but the product seems sturdy if it would have been the right size.

This was a great product I will be buying more for next vacay.

This is the third time in 18mos that we have ordered these water socks for my husband. They last about 6 months in total. He loves how they fit and feel, but each pair has had the stitching unravel after about 12 wears. As I work in fiber arts, I have been able to save them for further use, but honestly, this is a flaw that the company should look into. After this happening to three pairs, my husband has now asked me to find another vendor that sells this type of product.

I wish it suited colder weather

Socks work for me when playing beach volleyball on those cool days. My feet stays dry and warm when playing in wet/cool sand. They should also work on for those scorching hot days except feet might sweat a lot.I disagree with the size chart. I usually wear men's shoe size 8 or 8.5 (my feet measure about 10"/25.5cm, put heal against wall and measured to end of toe). The chart says I should get a Medium but found them way too tight, my toes curled up and felt too restricted. The Medium size measured 9.13"/23.2cm from heal to toe - see attached pic. Chart says the sole length should be 24cm. I found the large fit much better - snug but not too tight.I returned the Medium and kept the Large.
