MOOG K6477 Front Lower Suspension Ball Joint for Chevrolet K1500

Fit as it should. Installed easily. Great improvement over the booted ones they use to make.

FYI- it Does not fit a k2500 HD. Seems like a great ball joint, and I LOVE Moog products, so I wasn’t sure how many stars to give in my case, but the amazon parts-checker description says it’ll fit, and it was too small. I suspect this is the accurate part for a 1500 (half ton) mode truck. I had to return this and went to autozone. They had the correct part in-stock, and claimed although it’s a duralast label, theirs is actually made by moog. Looked high quality, so I believed them. Autozone part was $12 more than here, but it was also larger, and the correct part, so if you have a 2500 mode, it’s up to you what you want to do. For the time the job is going to take you, I would recommend the parts store to make sure you have the right replacement part before you start on it.

Moog always a great product, fit perfect on 1996 Yukon 4 x 4. Of course install of these is always a little work, even with the press. Like the new design, no rubber cup. Great price and fast shipping from this seller.

Pic shows that it comes with a dust boot, like every ball joint I've ever seen. When the product arrived it had been opened, the instruction sheet was missing and there no dust boot. Returned for replacement. The replacement arrived unopened but also w/o a dust boot. I looked at the (now) included instruction sheet to see "BALL JOINT WITH PRE-INSTALLED INTEGRAL DUST SHIELD" {Face Palm}As the pic shows, it's easy to miss the dust boot if you don't look closely. It looks to be an excellent design, and it makes me wonder why no one thought of it earlier. No more ripped dust boots letting in water or struggling with a tight fitting boot. Good job Moog (rhymes with vogue).Hopefully, Amazon updates their picture and description to avoid confusion.

Moog has always been a great product, the shipping and handling this time was inexcusable, both ball joints were stuffed into a mangled ball joint box and then covered in tape, they were then stuffed in a bigger box with both hub bearings and the bigger box was demolished bu the time if reached my house. All products were ok no damage, all parts where there but the destruction the shipping caused is unreal.

Needed to replace old OEM ball joints to pass inspection. Moog is the way to go! Not an easy project, but with Youtube and loaner tools, we got it done.

100% perfect. Get a good laugh and check your local auto parts store, how much they are trying to rip you off for the same exact part.

Moog parts are top notch as far as fit and finish are concerned. There are two sizes of lower ball joints on a 1996 GMC this set is the small diameter which unfortunately is not what the truck we bought them for takes. Pay attention when ordering these ball joints the parts book and Amazons parts system specified this set but we ended up having to get the larger diameter set from Napa instead.

I like moog products,they work very well not often you have to change them and thanks to amazon.ca they does a best to get you your parts fast.
