great battery
Battery is light and keeps charge twice as long as deep cells. No issue with battery memory as far as I can tell.

Great SLA Replacement for EZIP Trailz Battery Pack
Purchased these batteries as replacements in my Currie SLA 14AH battery pack (was SLA 10AH OEM but I upgraded those SLA with 14AH rated batteries, 20lbs). My battery pack now weighs a little under 8lbs. The higher nominal voltage (26.4 LifePO4 vs. 25.2 SLA) gave the bike a noticeable power boost. If anyone else is looking to do this low cost upgrade, its easy. You just need to take out your old battery, connect the new ones, modify the case to fit your new batteries. You DO NOT have to remove the inline fuse. Consider it as added safety in case the BMS of the LifePO4 batteries does not work. If you don't want to modify your case to fit the 12AH batteries, get the 9AH batteries. They will fit perfect in the Currie OEM case. Also, buy the Stark Power charger to go with your batteries. You will have to add a XLR connector on the end if you want to use your original Currie battery pack case. DO NOT USE you old SLA charger even though it will work. Hope this helps. Thanks.UPDATE: 1/11/13Batteries got their first use on my 36 mile commute to and from work. Batteries lasted ALOT longer than the SLA batteries. By lasting longer, I mean they maintained high output thru 75% of my ride where the SLAs started to reduce performance around 40-50%. I increased my ride speed from 15MPH to 18MPH (75min vs. 60min for 18miles). I called StarkPower to discuss and first I must say that they are A+++ seller. We talked about the details of my battery usage and he gave me some tips on how to maintain the batteries overtime. He told me that if I started to see the batteries start to get imbalanced due to the series configuration, i needed to parallel the batteries together and/or charge them with with a 12V charger to help balance out the batteries. I'm an electrical engineer so I know what he means but if you're not, no worries. It's really a simple process. StarkPower also sells 12V chargers so you could always buy 1 when you purchase your batteries.
