LA Baby 3 Shelf Wooden Changing Table, White (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

This is a great purchase for the price!I bought this as a secondary changing table to keep it in the family room for not running up and downstairs all the time to change diapers.I wanted something not too expensive but nice and durable to use for toys later as my child gets older. This fit greatly.It's a good sturdy changing table, big size and pretty nice finish.The shelves are surprisingly deep, thin but come with metal braces to install under each ones.The changing pad you put on top has a strap of it's own and  comes with a  foam pad.It is reasonably high and the color is nice natural wood.It is easy for me to assemble pregnant, I put together within 10 minutes...My baby is 8 months old now and I'm using the top shelf for diapering and the bottom shelf to store toys and baby books. 

I like it. It has a low profile and doesn't scream 'pretentious baby furniture' like some collections do, and it has a modern/utilitarian look to it. I keep it in the family room and it does not look out of place like it should be next to a crib set.The shelves are surprisingly deep. I use the middle shelf to hold storage containers (open tops) for diapers and blankets/burb rags, etc. The bottom shelf has toys on it. I chose this because I intend to use it as a toy shelf later on and I think it will work perfectly.Construction - Easy for me to put together pregnant, I leaned the side I wasn't working on up against a table to hold it up as you screw in all three rails front and back into the left side, then you do the right. It comes with an Allen wrench. The directions really sucked but I figured it out. It was also difficult to install the support bars that are underneath the white shelves; I ended up digging out my husband's drill to drill them in and the screws stripped before the screws were all the way down (I do know how to use a drill, I don't think this was all my fault). The white shelves are cheap and thin, but I believe they will hold up baby. I don't suggest using it for older toddlers (1 1/2) because I'd worry about the weight it could hold.The changing pad it comes with is a 1" foam pad, pretty cheap but better than nothing I suppose. I was happy it wasn't vinyl so I could at least use it to put under the changing pad I already have. I own the gold LA baby changing pad and used that instead as it has sides and is much nicer.UPDATE ** My baby is 2 now and potty trained. We used this for the whole time and it has been fantastic. Never had any problems. My six year old has even climbed on this thing with no tipping or breaking. No problem with her weight. It's still in absolutely perfect condition. We used the bottom two shelves for games and puzzle storage. Great buy.

Based on the other reviews I wasn't expecting much from this one. I was pleasantly surprised at: the quality, it looks very good in our nursery; how sturdy it is, it feels like I could climb up on it, no wobbles at all; and finally, how easy it was to put together, my wife had it assembled in less time than it took to get it out of the packaging. This is our fourth boy and I definitely prefer a changing table like this one that has open shelves instead of drawers or doors. All of the pieces were there, we didn't bother installing the safety strap that someone else ranted about since we never used one for the first 3 boys, plus the changing pad you put on top has a strap of it's own (which we cut off) -- just keep a hand on the baby at all times and don't leave to go answer the phone or do something else equally stupid...

Product is as I expected. I paid less than $100 and its not the fanciest thing I have for new baby, but inexpensive was my main goal & it was met. The frame seems sturdy enough, but the shelves are very thin. It does come with metal braces that install under each shelf, that definitely helps. I would not allow a toddler to climb on this changing table. I like that the product is small and "low profile" , our nursery is small. If you are looking for something fancy or super heavy, do not buy this product. If you are looking for a smaller item or a one for Grama's house, this product would be fine.

We received this changing table yesterday and it was evident that it had been purchased and returned already. It was missing a part but my husband put it together anyway. It seems to be quite sturdy, and has a lot of storage space, larger than I had anticipated. The partical board which is the white board on each shelf is thin and hopefully will hold the weight of our children as they grow, I don't remember seeing a weight limit on the specs--guess I should check. Overall I think this is a good purchase for the price, the size and the finish. Not to mention looks like it will make a nice toy shelf once the diapers are done.

Though I am not great with putting things together, with a lot of patience it was accomplished. It's a good sturdy changing table and can be used as shelving as your child gets older. My daughter loves it for the new grand baby!

I was looking for something that wasn't too bulky for our nursery/home office and this fit the bill! It's just the right size for a changing table pad on top and enough shelf space for the diapering essentials. The natural finish even matches the glider I bought 10 years ago. Can't beat the price either! Some assembly required, but nothing too onerous.

very easy to assemble!! Put together within 15 minutes and a great addition to our nursey!!! Very nice product would recommend it !
