A black stonewashed cotton background makes the colors in this bag pop. Bright and colorful "torn look" created using razor cuts. Peace sign and popular large flowers are sewn on the front. The background will always be a stonewashed black but the flowers, peace sign and razor cut fabric in the front and strap will vary in color. Pictures are samples of some of the varying colors. The bag can be worn either cross-body or over the shoulder. Measures 15" long by 14" wide. The strap is hip length, drops 24" from the shoulder to the top of the bag. The width of the strap is a wide 3" which helps distribute the weight of the bag and makes it very comfortable to wear. The strap can be knotted at the top to shorten the strap if desired. Bag closes with a zipper and button; is fully lined and has an inside zippered pocket. Each bag is handmade, fairly traded and uniquely constructed by artisans in Nepal. This bag will surely draw compliments.

One of the sturdier bohemian/hippie slings (with zippers!)
This is the second bag of this brand that I've gotten. The first was a gift to me from a friend and I liked the brand so much that I bought this one as a gift for my mom (who was a "Flower Child" of the 60s). We both absolutely love this bag. It is just as colorful as the pictures, if not more colorful. The fabric is thicker than most bags of this style (which is why I'll be ordering from this brand again for sure). And rather than just have a button closure, there is a zipper for the main compartment so you don't have to worry about all of your stuff falling out. There's also a small zippered pocket inside, perfect for your phone or smaller items (though the pocket zipper is a bit delicate). Overall, the best deal I've found on these type of bags for such a low price!

Awesome bag!
I got this bag as part of a "hippie outfit " for a local 70's outing but when I got it and saw the quality of the bag I will use it all the time!
