Jury is still out - updated - looking good
Was very excited to get this up and running for my home office. Set up was very easy and instructions were pretty straightforwardUnfortunately for now it is unusable due to horrendous feedback/interference noise audible to whoever you're talking with (even with microphone muted) - have adjusted the radio range, other advanced settings with no luck. Even when interference dies down, the audio quality is poor. HOWEVER - the telephone I'm hooked up to also uses DECT 6.0 so I've ordered a Fred Flinstone phone with no DECT capabilities to see if that diminishes the interference issue. Will update review with the new set up.But be warned, if you are using a DECT 6.0 expandable phone system - this headset will probably not fit your needs3/17/2012Works great with a featureless non RF phone - very satisfied3/28/2012Have been using this now for a couple of weeks - it is hands down the best headset I've used. I actually thought I'd be annoyed by the low beep when I'm on mute, but I have found it to be incredibly helpful in reminding me when i'm not audible (or when I am). Voice quality is outstanding, range is great - I can walk throughout my house (and on to the patio) with no diminution of quality

Great product with one flaw
I'm overly happy with this headset. I use it on a Cisco IP communicator soft phone on my computer. It sounds great, and has great range. Once in a while I hear a strange buzzing noise, but I'm guessing it's just interference on the channel. The flaw, and I do think it's pretty big, as I stated, I use this to talk to people through my computer using Cisco software, so you'd think there were be a feature on the headset to allow you to answer the phone when your away from your desk. What's the point of having a 400 foot range, if you need to be at your desk to answer the phone. If there is a feature that I'm missing that allows you to remotely answer your phone, I can't find it myself.Other than being desk bound, it's a great product and would highly recommend.

Perfect for the person who loves walking around as they talk
The headset system is very good, a bit expensive but has worked perfectly for exactly what I need it for.Pro:Very good range - i've not found the maximum range yet as i've walked out of my house and across the street and it still works for me without fading or noise.Very clear audio - I can hear everything I need toEveryone hears me clearlyCan be used with different kinds of headsets (comes with an over the head, and the on the ear loop)Cons:A bit expensive in my opinionI wish the headset knew when it was not in use and would turn offMy previous headset was an Plantronics S series headset that was wired, while the mobility was not there, it was cheap, clear, and performed almost as good as this but it was wired, which eventually my dog ripped apart one day while jumping on me. I mentioned that it would be nice if the headset knew when it was not in use, because I was used to the previous headset mentioned, and I would just take it off. Since I forget to take the ear piece and put it on the charger, I wake up sometimes and have a dead headset.

An otherwise good headset has frustrating flaws can be embarrassing on calls
While the wireless range, comfort and call quality of the headset are good there are a couple of fairly glaring design flaws that can be very problematic during calls.First the mute button. It's really inexcusable that they haven't fixed the mute button's "sticking" problem that makes it lockup while being pressed so that you cannot mute or unmute until you jiggle it enough to find the "sweet spot" This is a serious issue that has made it very difficult to mute the headset (or unmute) when needed. The second issue is the call answer/hangup button and use with Windows apps. If you pickup the headset from the cradle AFTER you've started say a Skype call... then you push the connect button to connect the headset to the base... you will hang up the call. This is another design issue that should have been corrected years ago as it's purely a software issue on the Sennheiser side. Sennheiser should change the software to NOT hang up calls if the headset is not connected to the base (when you press the connect button).I've called Headsets.com about this (they provide support for Sennheiser on these headsets) and was told I'd be called back by their team that interfaces with Sennheisers development staff to discuss... and have never received any calls.
